Silence filled the room for Zane as the principal said those words, and then broken by Daisy’s laughter, laughing like a queen banishing a poor peasant, but as she drowned in her enjoyment, the principal spoke to her,
“I am…considering Mr. Mayton’s expulsion, but I will have to speak to your father first, before I make any unnecessary mistakes, understand Miss Daisy?”.
Daisy instantly stopped and looked at the principal with disgust, but ultimately agreed, saying that even if he tells her father about her requests, he would still order the principal to follow her orders, no matter who is involved.
The principal went towards the window of the room and took out his phone, calling Daisy’s father, and while doing so, she walked towards Zane, leaning in, and said,
“Even you aren’t attending in this school anymore, your art would still be held for display here, so…look at the bright side, at least your pride is still standing for all the people to see”, as she smirked and walked away back to the principal’s desk, waiting.
Zane feeling relieved that his work would be left untouched, but still felt unease as what his mother would react to his expulsion, thinking of him seeing her crying and begging for the school to take him back, hurts his pride more than any other art could, and so he retaliated against Daisy,
Saying that she could not do this, and if she did then her father’s rules would not allow her to, because of simple narcissistic reasons.
Daisy quickly turned around to face him, asking what does a rebel like you know about rules, and he replied confidently,
“I know just enough to say that even though your father is in charge of the school, you are still just another girl whining about controlling something you could not, because deep down you know that you are still below it like everyone else, like a piece of art trying to control what the painter wants to make of it. You won’t accept that fact, that is why… you are a controlling b***h freak of a student!!!”.
As Daisy heard those words come out from his very mouth, she snapped, walking towards Zane and slapped him hard as her strength can make her,
“You will regret those words for ever coming out of your filthy mouth!!! Even if I can’t control everything, I can still convince it to be on my side. If my father questions me, I just tell him that your behavior was also part of the reasons that I want you to be expelled, skipping classes, drawing graffiti on the walls”.
“I could also play the nice daughter in this mess and tell him that you bullied and harass me, not only would you be expelled, but also be put in jail, and I would laugh as your yearbook photo is you taking a mugshot for the police as you are taken away to prison, you dirty, stinky lowlife, son of a b***h!!!”, saying that as she kept hitting Zane again and again until the principal told her to stop.
Daisy In her rage, turned her head around to face the principal and told him to shut, she then looked back at Zane, giving him one last slap as she lowered her hand and said,
“My father will be at my side, no matter how questionable my reasons are because he would rather go with anyone other…than a rebellious boy like yourself”.
Meanwhile,
Back at the detention room, Sam sat quietly as she waited for her phone to ring, looking outside the window. The teacher seeing her phone not picking up, grew impatient and ask Sam to hurry up and call her parents,
“I guess your parents are busy paying attention to more important things than their disappointment of a daughter, I guess they still think of you as only that or are they also disappointments like you girl?”.
Sam flinched and giggled a little, as she heard the teacher called her parents
“Disappointments”,
But immediately went back into her silence, and continued to wait. The teacher noticed her utter a laugh and asked her,
“What is it girl? You disagree with me? Even if they are not like you, they are still powerless to do anything about this, because no matter how they try you will still come straight back here, and I promise you, every time you come back, there will be more severe punishments than just a day of detention, I could even expel you”.
“And you will have no power to do anything about it. All you can do…Is sit there and lust for it”.
As the teacher spoke to Sam, she giggled slowly, tilting her head as she faced the teacher, and said
“Believe me, Miss, I am lusting for more than that”.
“What do you me- “.
The teacher was interrupted by the sound of the phone’s ringtone, Sam picked up the phone, walking towards the corner of the room, and whispered words, short and simple to her ear, but to the person she called, it held another meaning
“I have run into some…trouble”.
Back at the principal’s room, Zane still held his ground against Daisy, continuing to resist her attempts of intimidation and fear, and kept calling her powerless and ignorant, But as they fought, the principal was already done talking to Daisy’s father, and looked back at them, telling them to be quiet.
The principal went towards Zane and grabbed his ID, saying as he does so,
“I am sorry Mr. Mayton, but I have no choice but to remove you from this school”.
Zane panicked, telling him he cannot do that to him, but the principal's mind was already set, and as he went back to his desk and grabbed Zane’s info and card,
Holding all of them in his hands about to tear them apart, Zane closed his eyes in disbelief, thinking to himself,
“I’m…sorry…Mother”.
Daisy smiled as if she was the victor, a witch that won a trial, but as she ordered the principal to finally tear it apart, the door suddenly burst open, surprising Daisy and her men, and stopped the principal from his tracks.
As the door stood opened, two grown men entered the room, paving a way for a woman that followed soon, walking towards the middle of the room, and announced herself,
“Good afternoon everyone, I apologized for this…sudden intrusion”.
