Steve said to Olympus that he is a messenger sent by Osiris to save him from the upcoming apocalypse. Everyone believes his logic but Olympus has something bad sensing about him. He is suspecting him. So he thought of testing him so that only the powerful people like Osiris messenger can win. His main intention is to keep him busy in those challenges and know about him silently whether he came as the messenger or does he want anything else from me. So he asked to stay there. Steve is happy that his first step is successful. But he knows that Olympus doesn't believe him that easy.
