Steve has been blamed and questioned about his efficiency. He got so much hurt about it. It's all done by that assistant director Peter. It hurt Steve's ego. He never got questioned about his skill and talent. He took it as a challenge and after the great work done, Steve finally succeeded in the construction of CAPSULE. So he thought of announcing his creation. He wanted to see the expression on the face of Peter about his achievement.
So he sent a special invitation to be there. Next day, on a fine afternoon he invited all his colleagues, 3 friends, director and Peter to the grand announcement success meet in the same hall where he was humiliated before. All his colleagues and the director felt very happy about his success except one. Everyone is eagerly waiting for Steve's entry. Steve opened the door and entered the room with a proud feeling. He is very confident and very eager and enthusiastic about Peter's behaviour.
As soon as he opened the door, all stood up and applauded Steve. After the grand welcome of our hero and much applause, Steve showed his gratitude to everyone and he got passed one by one and he reached Peter. He smiled at Peter and Peter tilted his head down with an insulted feeling. Steve smiled and thanked him. Without you, I couldn't have known that I'm so much better than I thought. With anger on you, my brain ran like a horse and now I've completed the work before stipulated time. Peter saw him with a very dull face.
Steve smiled again and he told everyone to sit in their places. He took the stage and he started his speech. Thank you for all your respect for me. It's an honour. Actually I wanted to greet someone in you for my success. It's only because of him I have completed this work more sooner than normally I can. He woke up my rage for my work with his words. There is a saying that REVENGE IS BEST SERVED COLD. Actually I paid no attention to that before that incident.
But today I believe it. Everyone understood who he referred to and everyone in the room started to see him. Peter is sitting in the front row of the hall with a sad and dull face and he got insulted very much. Steve continued his speech. Keeping aside all of that. Today I would like to announce my work and display my success on the transportation to the planet WASP-2389 BLG-5487.All of you, stay calm and be amazed by my new invention “THE CAPSULE."
By saying that, he pointed out towards a dark glass panel. On his pointing the motion sensors detected his hand gesture and the dark panel started to become ascending translucent and finally transparent. On the other side of the panel, there is a magnificent plane-like vehicle which is standing on a rotating stage like a ready to roar lion. It is totally black in colour. It appears very grand. On seeing it, all of them were shocked and they seemed to be a bit at the corner of the seat. Everyone seemed so enthusiastic. The design is very different and non-comparable to previous ones.
This one is a much smaller and very slim design. On sight of it Peter can't control himself and got away from the room. Steve felt very happy inside as his ego got satisfied but hid his feelings on his face. Steve started to describe it. It is a revolutionary device in the history of space travelling. Unlike the gigantic rocket model, it is a portable model which can escape the atmosphere with its speed compensating the weight. It is made of very hard glass mixed with carbon and light metals.
It can travel with a maximum speed of 290 thousand km per second i.e. slightly less than the speed of light. Everyone in the room is stunned by its features and they are listening very interestingly like a story... Steve continued it has built up with the latest technology of thermo shield. It can bear up to 75000°C. So by this thermo shield, it is can bear most of the heat generated while it enters that planet's atmosphere. As it is portable, it is fuel efficient, can easily escape the meteorites collision.
It is also a fission energy model. It requires nuclear energy only for the thrust and to escape the atmosphere. After that it works on the energy derived from the fissions and fusions of the stars so the fuel required is very less. In this way we can lessen the weight of the capsule. All the equipment can be loaded into the cargo part. It's very spacious and more than enough space is on it. The number of travellers can travel through it is four. The voyagers will be me as project head and John as assistant Head. Jake and James are…..
Before completing his speech; Peter came back into the hall and sat in his seat. His face is now somewhat filled with satisfaction. It appears very often on his face when he ruins anybody or about to ruin anybody. Peter got an idea to again prove that Steve is wrong. Steve lit a bulb in his head that he was going to put me in trouble now. Before he finished this thinking, Peter stood up to ask a question. Steve stopped him and told him to wait until last for questions. Peter sat down with an expression. Steve is thinking what he would be questioning.
But he is not much afraid as he has belief in his creation. He continued his speech on its thrust power and every technical aspect of the capsule. Everything seems so perfect for the colleagues and director. They are impressed with his speech. Finally he concluded by showing his gratitude towards all the people in the station. He thanked them and said, without their support this can't be done.
It's a group effort and special thanks to the director who has belief in me and gave me this wonderful and important opportunity. I worked my level best to prove you are not wrong in your selection. With this I'm ending my session and now it's time for questions. I just saw that assistant head Peter sir is more enthusiastic and very much eager to ask me a question. Maybe he didn't understand all the specifications of my capsule. I will simplify my words now for him to understand. Sir, now you can ask your question.
