Amara is silently watching as Damien continues to have an internal battle with Segundo. But an approaching presence caught her attention. She placed her palms on the ground and closed her eyes. She flutters them open when she saw what was coming.
“Reinforcements.” Amara breathed. She looks at Damien worriedly afraid that they might have come for him. Arianna probably saw Damien’s transformation and she worried that she might have taken interest in him again.
“What do I do?” Amara whispered almost to herself. There were only a few soldiers left since most of them have fallen when they got caught up with Damien’s power. Amara wanted to protect Damien because he is the only person she has left. She failed to protect her father, her friends, and her sister.
