Damien and Amara managed to burn the bodies of Barbara, Richmond, and Rosella. Amara created a jar made of ice to store their ashes. As much as possible Amara wanted to stay close to Damien because from time to time, the temperature increases and she wanted to prevent him from burning the treehouse down.
Amara is preparing their meal when the rain started to pour. Rainwater can barely pass through the thick branches and bushes in the Dark Forest only small drops of water. Amara walked out of the treehouse to check on Damien only to find him sitting on the edge of the treehouse.
Damien extended his hand forward to catch the small drops of water that falls from the leaves but the water vanished before it even reaches his palm. Amara walked closer to him and sat beside Damien.
