Lilith groaned as she entered the law firm on Monday morning. She felt absolutely drained.
After her long day on Saturday, Valerio made it his mission to blow her phone so he insistently called her without rest. Of course, she did not pick up a single one of his calls which for whatever reason, made him want to bother her even more. So she had spent the little that was left of her weekend cursing her boss.
And now after a whole day of ignoring her boss's calls, she was dreading nothing more than meeting him.
Knowing very well that she was going to be called to his office, the moment she stepped off the elevator, she walked straight to his office without bothering to stop at her desk first. There was after all a high chance she was going to get fired.
