Lilly was secretly surprised by Maisy's words. She didn't expect Maisy to like Stanley to such an extent that she would want him to be her biological father.
Before this, she had been thinking about how to break the news to Maisy. But now it seemed that she needn't have had to worry.
"Lilly, about what I said the last time, I think you can really consider it."
Lilly turned her head and looked at Melissa in confusion. "What?"
"It's just Maisy and Stanley... that..." Melissa glanced at Maisy and winked at Lilly.
Lilly understood what she meant immediately. She also looked at Maisy and nodded, agreeing with Melissa's suggestion.
When Stanley came back, she would steal a strand of his hair and do a DNA test for him and Maisy.
She wouldn't take any chances.
