"Sister, why are you here?" Poppy was as terrified as a mouse meeting a cat when she saw Laura.
Laura looked at Poppy's pathetic state, snorted coldly, and sat down on the sofa.
"Were you planning to burn this room down if I hadn't come?"
Poppy burst into tears. She knelt beside Laura and cried her heart out.
"Sis, what should I do? Globe Aviation has terminated its contracts with me. Stanley doesn't want me anymore."
"This is not as terrible as we thought." Laura stroked Poppy's head comfortingly. It was rare that Laura did not scold Poppy for her stupidity.
Poppy looked at Laura in confusion.
