"Hello, Ms. Bradshaw," Lilly replied with a smile.
"Hello, Maisy." Ms. Bradshaw greeted Maisy warmly, then said to Lilly, "Ms. Morris, we missed you at the parent-child event. What a pity. Maisy's father did well, but both parents had to be there to get the prize."
Lilly was stunned.

Lilly subconsciously looked at Maisy, who quickly wriggled out of her grip and ran inside before any questions could be asked.
Ms. Bradshaw asked in confusion when she saw Lilly's puzzled expression, "Ms. Morris, you don't know about this?"
Of course, she didn't know about it, but she decided to find a random excuse to avoid any further questions, "Ms. Bradshaw, I was too busy, I must have forgotten."
Lilly smiled sheepishly.
