Zora pursed her lips and nodded her head in understanding as he began to explain, “you are not in any way supposed to play a real mother to my grandchild. I don’t want her to get comfortable with you as that would cause problems in the future.”
That was a relief as Zora was thinking about it. The fact that a baby was involved caused her to miss her unborn child. It was good that Mr. Newman had thought this through to make it easy for her to have a clean exit. She smiled and nodded her head as he continued to speak.
“You are free to pursue your dreams as there is a full-time nanny responsible for my grandchild and comatose son. Nevertheless, you will have to move in with us and play the perfect wife when we are among guests.”
