Kaylene’s POV
Six years ago.
After crying my eyes out, I decided I needed to leave. In the middle of the night, I grabbed everything that I needed and was ready to leave. I slowly opened the door to my room, heading into the hallway.
I made sure that I took my steps carefully so I don’t make any noise. I went to the car park and got a bike from the garage. I wasn’t a wolf or Vampire, so I didn’t have any speed to help me out.
I held on to the motorbike as I dragged it out of the yard; I incanted some word so that the vamps on guard could fall into asleep.
“Going somewhere?” I heard the brian’s voice behind me as I swallowed hard.
“Please, just stay out of my way and I will be on my way,” I said to him and he scoffed, I could hear his footsteps walking towards me.
