I looked at Kaylene who seemed to be more concerned about the wolves rather than her own wellbeing.
“So, what do you plan on doing?” I questioned her and she didn’t respond. “I can’t let Ivan go to the Bayou, I can accept anything from him but killing innocent children is not right,” She said going through her bag, I wonder what she was looking for.
“We can go together” I offered to her as she widened her eyes.
“I thought a few minutes ago you didn’t even want to talk about it. What has changed now?” She questioned me as I sighed heavily.
“Just because. I don’t want you getting hurt while there” I said to her as I watched her trying to decide which guns to take with her. She was really determined about this.
