Danielle's POV

Hi well before anything else, Im Danielle Smith 21 years old. I recently graduated in my bachelors degree but since I am a f*****g Smith so I was able to finished my masteral and doctorate degree as well.

My father is a Professor in Canada and me, I dont know yet since my dad was the one who applied for me in a university that I am not sure of, I didnt asked him about it since I want it to be surprise but I'll tell you something about it, I'll be handling senior students in college in the English Department.

Im currently at the party now, every year my parents are throwing a party for their old squad and Im always required to attend to this party.

Yeah it is really boring to be with old people but I have nothing to do with it. I dont want my parents to be upset to me.

But this time its different since the f*****g SAMANTHA MCKENZIE will be attending as well.

Yes I know her, who wouldn't know her duhh

She is the lovely lady in New York, everyone knows her and everybody loves her.

Yes including me, eversince my parents told me about her when I was 10 years old, I really wanted to meet her but she is just so stubborn, she doesnt want to attend the reunion party.

But dont get me wrong, everyday Im seeing her in the university but she doesnt know me, of course Im popular too like her but Im no match to her. Whenever I see her, she is surrounded by her suitors and other students that wanted to please her.

But I dont think she is comfortable with that because as far as I know she has her girlfriend named Steffi, she is also enrolled in the university but her major is Mathematics. They looked perfect together but how I wish it was me instead.

Yes you could say Im inlove with her eversince I've know her from my parents. She is my first love but its obviously an unrequited love

I have been waiting for her to attend to this party but she is nowhere to be found.

Where the hell is she?

Just when I was about to give up looking for her, I heard someone yelling in the garden.

So I decided to come and check...and guess who that girl is? If you're thinking that its SAMANTHA MCKENZIE then BINGO!

I sat beside her while laughing, you cant blame me people, she is my crush and she is looking at me OMG!!

oh have you seen a ghost my lady? Let me guess you just see me today arent you? Of course for all those years in the university you never set your eyes on me.

'Hey stranger' I said with a hint of blush on my face

'Ummhh Hello to you too, Im guessing you are Danielle Smith? Oh that was uncalled for, wait does she know me? How?

I never realized I kept on laughing, maybe she'll think Im crazy so I just shook this thoughts.

Nodding, 'I wonder what a beautiful girl is doing in this garden alone and why do you looked so frustrated before I came here?' Who dared to make my Samantha frustrated?

'Well you could say that this damn party thing is so annoying and I badly wanted to go home and bury myself with the love of my life and just do cuddlings' such a straightforward babe, hearing that, I just sigh and...

'Why didnt you bring the love of your life here so you can enjoy the party and not get frustrated?' We'll Im a great pretender after all.

'Oh dont worry, I thought of that too. But well, everybody would think that Im insane if I ever bring my pillows, blanket and my bed in your house right?' Then I laugh, hey you people I thought she was pertaining to her girlfriend mygums

And she was shocked with the way Im laughing

Oh my G! Maybe she'll think Im crazy so I took that chance to introduce myself

'Uhm well you already know my name but still, Im Danielle Smith. And I supposed you are Samantha McKenzie right? Who am I fooling ofc I know her name, duhh babe I've been fantasizing you for 10 years now Oh crap such a creep Danie iwww

I wonder why she's not talking and just keep on staring at me. Come on Samantha, are you mezmerized by my beauty? Speak up use your tongue baby

You're wondering how I know your name arent you? She just nod while staring at me hmmmm

'Unlike you, Im used to this kind of party since my parents never failed to throw a party like this when they are here in New York. But this time its different because the only daughter of the McKenzie couple is here and my parents told me a lot about you.'

'A lot? Like what?'

'Basic information about you and your preferences when it comes to relationship' I wish my parents introduced me to you too, but I know they didn't

'Does she know that Im gay?' is she talking to herself now? I wonder.

'Yeah they told me that you're gay and dont worry I dont mind'

Oh my God did I say that out loud?

'Yes you say that out loud' then again I bursted out laughing.

She was about to say something when her phone rang and of course it was her oh so lucky girlfriend.

'Baaaaabeeeeeee' aww so that's their callsign?

'Well hello to you too Steffi. What's up? Are you alright?' Get your s**t together Danielle, you dont need to hear their conversation.

'Hey are you crying? Whose ass Im kicking for making my baby cry?'

I dont want to hear it so I stand and walk out from the garden to give her a privacy.

I entered our house and I saw Natalie McKenzie on the couch so I approached her.

'Hello Mrs. McKenzie, its nice seeing you again here'

'Oh hello to you too Darling, how are you? Have you seen Sam?'

'Uhhh yeah I talked to her a few minutes ago in the garden'

'I hope she behaved well, you know my daughter can be so stubborn sometimes'

'No worries Mrs. McKenzie she was nice and fun to be with'

'That's good to hear sweetie and it's Natalie to you'

Samantha suddenly entered the couch and approached her mom, but I didn't bother to look at her.

'Hey mom... uhmmm' she said

'Yes baby what's wrong?'

'Mom can I go now?please?' wow is she that excited to see her girlfriend?

'Steffi needs me I dont know what happened so dont ask me why all I know is she is panicking and I wanted to be there for her. Please mom I promise I'll be back when everything is settled with her. Please I gotta go mom' oh baby you are so whipped

'Okay in one condition sweetie.' Natalie said,

'Yeah what is it?'

'Danielle will come with you' what? are you serious? I dont want to witness the their sweetness tss, it will only break my heart

'But- she was cut by Natalie

'No more buts sweetie just go. Steffi needs you. Say hi to her for me'

'Okay mom thank you, kiss dad for me okay?' With that said Samantha and I left the house and went to Steffi's.

While were on our way to her girlfriend, she was really quiet and lost in her own thoughts.

I wonder what's on her mind, is she worried about her girlfriend? Did she miss her that much? So clingy pfffft!

I can no longer bare the awkward silence so I broke it and...

'So I supposed she is your girlfriend?' She looked at me and shook her head. WHAT? SHE ISN'T? OMYGUMS IM HAVING A VICTORY DANCE WITH MYSELF RIGHT NOW. She shook her head right? Im not imagining it?

Then as if she can read my mind,...

'Nope, she is my bestfriend.' I looked at her shock and happiness is visible in my eyes, I was not able to keep it from myself.

Dont get your hopes high Danielle, it doesn't mean she has no girlfriend, she is Samantha McKenzie, everyone wants her.
