After I paid the bill and left a big tip, I walked her to her car.
She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around my waist. Then she gave me the softest lingering kiss I’d had in a very long time. I hugged her to me as I returned the kiss.
She finally drew away. “Would you like to come over?” she asked as she unlocked the car door. “I’ve got three cases of wine sitting there with cheese and crackers and a lot of candy.”
“Think I should?” I asked. “This is our first date.”
“Why let the night end this early? Follow me.” She got into her car as I hurried over to mine. I got into my car and followed her out of the lot.
I really don’t remember following her; my mind was all over the place. This had gone too well. How should I handle this? Should I sit back and let her make the next move? H
