“Maybe you got mad because she mentioned having a second mom and you instantly thought about your mother.” After telling Sebastian about my conversation with Kylie the other day, he tells me what he thinks happened and I kind of get it. Maybe that was what happened.
“Yeah maybe you’re right, I mean besides my aunt and uncle, I’ve never had a mother figure in my life or let anyone be that. And after Amara, I don’t think I can let anyone in with ease ever again.” He gives me a look of sympathy and comes to give me a hug.
“I’m sorry kitten.”
“It’s okay, but I do know one thing though and it’s that I adore your mom. She’s so loving and warm and just feels like home.” I laugh softly, “I want to let her in and be completely open with her, I just want to do it my way.”
