Blood and claim

The silenced gunshot cracked through the moonlit garden like thunder. Eli’s scream tore from his throat, raw and desperate. “Min-seok!” Chaos exploded. Min-seok moved like a force of nature 192 cm of lethal alpha power. He slammed into the first intruder with brutal force, the sound of bone meeting flesh sickening in the night air. The attacker crumpled, but two more emerged from the shadows, their aggressive Alpha pheromones clashing violently with Min-seok’s dark sandalwood storm. “Get inside!” Min-seok roared, voice laced with commanding Alpha timbre that vibrated straight through Eli’s bones. But Eli couldn’t move. Frozen in terror, he watched as one assailant lunged with a knife glinting under the garden lights. Min-seok twisted with terrifying precision, catching the man’s wrist and snapping it in one brutal motion. A howl of pain ripped through the night. The second attacker fired again the bullet, grazing Min-seok’s arm, tearing fabric, and drawing blood. The metallic scent of alpha blood mixed with the humid night air. Eli’s vision tunnelled. His sweet vanilla-floral scent flared wildly in panic, thick and distressed, unintentionally fueling the fight as it called to Min-seok’s instincts. “He is mine!” Min-seok snarled, the word primal. He drove his elbow into one attacker’s throat, dropping him instantly, then spun and delivered a devastating kick to the last man’s knee. Security finally swarmed from the estate, subduing the remaining threats with ruthless efficiency. Panting, blood dripping down his left arm, Min-seok turned. His darkened eyes locked on Eli with feral intensity. In three long strides, he closed the distance, pulling the trembling Omega hard against his chest. The embrace was crushing, possessive, almost painful. “Are you hurt?” Min-seok demanded, voice rough. His large hand cradled the back of Eli’s head, fingers threading through long dark hair as he pressed his nose to Eli’s neck, inhaling deeply. A low, approving growl rumbled from his chest. “Tell me you’re not hurt.” Eli clutched Min-seok’s bloodied shirt, shaking. “You’re bleeding, you i***t. Why did you” “Because you’re mine.” The words were simple, absolute. Min-seok pulled back just enough to cup Eli’s face with blood-stained hands, thumbs brushing away tears Eli hadn’t realized had fallen. Their foreheads pressed together. The Alpha’s scent was everywhere dark, protective, laced with pain and raw dominance. It wrapped around Eli like chains made of velvet and steel. Heat surged through Eli’s body, unbidden and powerful. His first real wave of heat, triggered by adrenaline and Min-seok’s overwhelming presence, began to bloom low in his belly. Slick gathered. His scent sweetened dramatically, turning needy and intoxicating. Min-seok’s nostrils flared. His eyes darkened to near-black. “f**k… Eli.” The tension snapped. Min-seok crashed their lips together in a bruising, desperate kiss. It wasn’t gentle. It was claiming teeth and tongue, Alpha dominance pouring into the Omega like liquid fire. Eli whimpered into his mouth, hands fisting tighter in the torn shirt, torn between pushing away and pulling closer. His body betrayed him completely, melting against the hard planes of Min-seok’s gym-sculpted chest. When they broke apart, both breathing heavily, Min-seok’s forehead rested against Eli’s again. Blood from his wound smeared across Eli’s collarbone a visceral mark. “You feel it, don’t you?” Min-seok whispered, voice husky. “This pull. Your heat is coming faster because of me. I can smell it. Sweet. Ready. Begging.” “I hate what you do to me,” Eli gasped, even as another wave of heat made his knees weak. “This isn’t love. It’s obsession.” Min-seok’s laugh was dark and low. “Obsession is deeper than love, little Omega. Love can fade. This?” He pressed a thumb against Eli’s racing pulse. “This will never let you go.” Security approached cautiously. “Sir, the intruders are secured. One is talking. They were hired by the politicians you warned earlier. There may be more attempts.” Min-seok’s expression turned ice-cold. “Deal with them. I want names. Every single person is involved.” He swept Eli up into his arms without asking, carrying the lighter Omega bridal-style back toward the estate. Blood continued to drip from his wound, but he didn’t seem to care. Inside the master suite, not the guest room, Min-seok laid Eli on the massive bed. Servants and a private doctor rushed in. While the doctor cleaned and stitched the graze on Min-seok’s arm, the Alpha refused to let go of Eli’s hand, thumb stroking possessively over his knuckles. “You shouldn’t have come out to the garden,” Min-seok said quietly once they were alone again. The room smelled overwhelmingly of both of them blood, sandalwood, vanilla, and the first heavy notes of impending heat. “But I’m glad you did. Now you understand. I will bleed for you. I will kill for you.” Eli sat up, eyes glistening. “And what about my mother? Another threat mentioned her ward. If something happens to her because of this” “Nothing will happen.” Min-seok’s voice brooked no argument. He pulled Eli closer, tucking the Omega against his uninjured side. The heat of his body was feverish. “I’ve already doubled security at the hospital. Specialists are on standby 24/7. But you you stay with me now. No arguments.” The kiss they shared next was slower, deeper. Min-seok’s hand slid under Eli’s shirt, palm hot against bare skin, tracing the delicate line of his spine. Eli moaned softly, the sound feeding the Alpha’s hunger. The heat was building faster now, clouding Eli’s mind with need. Min-seok pulled back with visible restraint, breathing ragged. “Not yet. Not while you’re still fighting me. When I take you, I want you to beg for it. To know exactly who you belong to.” Eli’s eyes flashed with defiance even as his body trembled with want. “You’re arrogant.” “I’m right.” Min-seok smirked, then winced slightly as he shifted his injured arm. The small sign of vulnerability made something twist in Eli’s chest. A phone buzzed on the nightstand. Min-seok glanced at it, expression darkening. He answered on speaker. “Report.” “Sir, Mrs. Thanasak’s condition took a sudden turn an hour ago. She’s stable now, but the doctors say the stress from the situation may be accelerating things. She’s been asking for Elias.” Eli’s world tilted. He reached for the phone, voice breaking. “I need to see her.” Min-seok ended the call and pulled Eli back against him, holding tight. “We’ll go at first light. Together. But tonight” He pressed a kiss to Eli’s temple, then lower, scenting his neck aggressively, leaving his mark. “Tonight you stay in my arms. Let me protect you while your heat builds. Fight it all you want, but your body already knows the truth.” Outside, the city lights of Bangkok twinkled like distant stars. Inside, the air grew heavier with unspoken promises and rising danger. As Eli drifted into an exhausted, heat-fevered sleep against the Alpha, who both saved and trapped him, a new message lit up Min-seok’s phone from an unknown number. One Omega isn’t worth this war. Give him up, or we burn everything you love, starting with the mother. Min-seok’s eyes burned with cold fury as he deleted the message and tightened his grip around Eli. The war had only just begun.
