I went out in the balcony to see who it was, only to find no one behind the curtains. But it was so bright outside and the entire city was lit up with thousands of lights. And then it was all dark suddenly. Did it black out? But....
My thought was interrupted by a sudden cold breeze on my neck. Damn! This cold breeze and the smell after it rains, are two of my most favorite things.
I felt a little cold, so I hugged myself rubbing my arms to warm up, my eyes closed with a snugly laziness, which broke when I suddenly felt like falling. My heart just skipped a beat, maybe out of my reflexes, and I opened my eyes quickly to see that..I was just dreaming!
It has been almost a week that I have been having nightmares and weird dreams, and I am so frustrated now because of that. The strangest part of it is, I always dream of something that has happened on the very day and it seems that the dream is just continuation of what could have happened next..for real!
Mostly I don't overthink about all this the whole day, but whenever I'm alone doing nothing, my mind starts brewing thoughts, I feel like these are not just dreams, they want to speak to me, somebody wants to talk to me!
Suddenly, I was interrupted by a tune so light, it seemed to be coming from far away. I noticed it was from under my pillow. I picked up the pillow to find my phone lingering underneath, playing soft songs through earphones. I switched on my phone to stop the playlist and lay down. It was hot inside, I wanted to open the window but I was so damn sleepy to get up and open them. So I turned away from the window and tried to sleep. Suddenly I felt that cold breeze again sweeping over my neck making me fall asleep. While travelling back to my dreamland, among my scattered consciousness I realized, I closed my window before coming to bed!!
