24th of January, 2014 West Blaire High, Cafeteria, 12:00 pm The bell rang to indicate lunch time. Students filled the hallway with their chatter as they all fled to the cafeteria. The noise of the teenagers seemed to increase as they collided with each other and interacted. The cheerleaders were flirting with the football players, Sasha, from the school paper wouldn't stop running her mouth, telling her friends about all the latest gossip. Friends talked and laughed as they all sat down to eat the disgusting cafeteria food, Julie, on the other hand, was scrubbing the kitchen floor. It was something that she need to do to get some extra cash. She was willing to do just about anything to get the extra cash. Yes, she got laughed at and mistreated by the other students occasionally, she was called names of all sorts, the most popular of them being 'juicy Julie' and 'freak'. Yes, they hurt her to the point where she wished she seized to exist, but she had gotten used to it. Used to the shame that follows her everywhere she goes, the insults that she had to endure ever since she entered this God forsaken school. "Judy!! Look at the mess you've made!!!" A fake squeaky voice disrupted Julie's thoughts, Lindsay, the captain of the cheerleaders. She was referring to the 'mess' of mashed potatoes, fries and ketchup that was now all over Julie's blonde locks. "Clean it up, it's your Job, right?" She continued. The cafeteria fell silent as the interaction between Lindsay and Julie commenced and Sasha already had her camera out, it's obvious who's going make the headlines tomorrow. Julie bent down to clean it up after Lindsay and her minions had left, but Madam Helga stopped her before she could do it. Madam Helga was the head of the kitchen ladies and was like a mother to Julie. "You're off duty, remember" She said with her very strong accent. Julie smiled for the first time in a long time. "Thank you" She whispered as she got up and prepared to go to class, for the bell had already been rung. "You're welcome" Helga said, but Julie had gone. ********** Jerkens' Residence, 24th of January, 2014, 04:00 pm The sirens from the police cars and the ambulance was definitely not the only thing that filled Julie's home with noise. Mrs. Jerkens' cries and screams overshadowed the sounds from the police cars. She laid down right next to the lifeless body, crying, helpless. The police had come too late, the paramedics, later. Sixty seconds was all that was needed, all she needed. To kill herself, she was. Suicidal. *********
