“ah!! now who the f**k is that??” I exclaimed rolling my eyes trying to dry my soaking wet hair as I stepped out of the shower hastily looking for a towel. “I hope you didn’t order pizza” I said prancing downstairs with a skip in between accompanied by a smile still reeking of fresh s*x. I carelessly swung the door open and was greeted by a fresh set of teeth, bangs and big framed glasses, surprised I saw Tina’s mom standing on the opposite end. “Babe who is it?” Tina asked walking down the stairs with a towel wrapped around her naked body. “Hello my darling!” She gestured for a hug and I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable following what me and her daughter were up a minute ago but I gave in and she squeezed me to her body leaving little to no space for me to breathe. Our hug was short lived when we heard Tina walk down the stairs. “It’s your mom honey” I smiled awkwardly patiently waiting for Tina to get to the bottom of the stairs while her mom was admiring every corner of the house. “My mom?” Tina, she asked looking mortified and in the span of 3 seconds I saw 7 different expressions. “Yes, you big bunny, come give your old lady a hug” she insisted, her accent was rich and rooted. I could still feel her warm hug watching her squeeze her daughter the same way. “Ma you said you're coming next week.” Tina said trying not to sound bothered by the ordeal. “Yah yah yah...That's what I said, you two looks like you were pretty busy not too long ago” she said looking at what me and Tina had on, I blushed remembering how our bodies married a few minutes ago “Oh gosh mom really??” Tina’s embarrassed face made me blush even harder. “What? oh well get my luggage I have some unpacking to do. Now where is my room?” she asked looking back and forth at the both of us. I heard she prefers her room curated to fit her needs. Thankfully I had my team customise one the guestroom for her. “Here you go” I said putting the last few bags in the room. “You're a sweetheart” she said resting on the bed. I assumed it was the long trip so I closed the door and hurried back to my restless bride to be. I found her infuriated as I’d thought. “I know she came unannounced but let’s enjoy her company, she is hilarious” I said letting out a chuckle. “You don’t get it, she is controlling and will probably take over everything” she whined. Again, I might be gullible but Susan seems understanding, who could possible think otherwise. “Mommy!!” Jody yelled from downstairs “We will never have peace in this house, listen to the racket they are making downstairs” I said looking at Tina who was now resting on my chest. Jody jumped on the bed and enthusiastically whipped out a paper and silently waited for our response. “What! You did so well my Sweet Cakes!” Tina said tickling Jody who looked very pleased at herself. I was proud to see straight A’s in all her courses. “What would you like us to get you?” I asked joining the kissing and tickling fest. “That’s an easy one” Tina replied winking at me. “uhm, can I have a 1000 piece ‘Princess Jasmine’ puzzle piece?” she said and the tickling stopped immediately. Tina and I both exchanged looks “Alright baby, ask Catherine to change your clothes for you, we’ll be down in a few” I said. “I thought she would never get over Dora the Explorer” Tina blurted after Jody left the room. “I was getting worried!” I replied. “Thank the heavens, that took a while” Tina finished off and we both laughed. Tina and I got up from our cuddled spot. To find Mrs Foster having a ball with the boys’ downstairs. “Pops, check what Granny got for us” Ty said excitedly untying the bow that was attached to white box. It was confusing to having the kids call us because they would all say mom and Tina and I would butt heads as to who they were calling so I got a fresh title, Pops. “Let me my boy” I said. She bought them all iPads. “That's awesome!” I said trying to switch it on for both of them. I was doubtful, they are only 7 years old and gadgets at that age may be a risk I’m not sure I can take. “listen boys, you will both get these on your eighth birthday” I said packing the iPads neatly in the box. I immediately became the uncool mom, the one who makes them sleep before their bedtime, the one who gives them a 10 o’clock curfew when they are 21 hear old. I hated this but it had to be done. “I got a pink one” Jody said before I packed it neatly in the box. I didn’t have to tell them to go upstairs they voluntarily went to their rooms sulking. “Thanks Mrs Foster, but I prefer they grow up a little more” I said walking to put the boxes in their playroom. “Please call me Selena” she insisted. “Now I have a few things planned for the wedding, have you both gone for cake tasting?”. “Yes” Tina quickly replied “Good, what are you planning on wearing Jay? a dress? a suit? nothing?” she joked but Tina didn’t find it as funny. “A black and white Tux” I said looking at Tina who was sulking in the corner folding her hands. “Perfect! who is making it for you?”. “My design team mam” I primly replied. I refrained from feeling comfortable the minute Tina folded her arms. “They must make sure it’s a perfect cut my dear I don't want-” Tina cut her off. “Mom enough the wedding is under control we have a wedding planner so we don't need your input” Tina said getting up and going upstairs. “What’s wrong with her?” Selena asked. “I have no idea! Babe what’s wrong?... sorry Selena I'll be back” I said to Selena. She refused to talk about her reason for being livid but I convinced her to come back downstairs and finish going through the plans with her mother and I.
