Chapter 12: Let me explain

We were so exhausted yesterday and couldn't even have the dinner that Tina cooked for us. Selena got up early to catch a flight to North California where Tina's sisyer lives.

I woke up and Tina was not in bed... I went downstairs and she was in the TV room holding a piece of paper.

“Hey my love, it’s still early why you up? Come back to bed its Saturday” I whinnied.

She was silent.

“Babe...?” I said walking to her and she shed a tear.

“Are you okay? babe?” I asked worried.

“What the f**k??? don't fucken touch me. What you found a new b***h? huh?” she said wiping her tears

“What are you talking about?” I said confused.

“Maybe this will refresh your memory!!” she said flicking the piece of paper in my face.

Kim wrote her numbers and her address then finished off with a ‘xoxo can't wait to see you again and get that kiss’

“Ah s**t!” I said loudly. “f**k Jasmine!! really???” she said standing up. “Babe... listen, let me explain” I said. “I'm gone!! You can have your Kim, have a nice life” she said leaving the room.

I thought she was being a bit dramatic. Did I find Kim attractive? yes but I find quite a lot of people attractive. Do I want to be with Tina for the rest of my life? Yes, I have my priorities straight, I want to marry this woman and that’s that.

I went to check outside and her car wasn't there...

Damn! I totally forgot about that paper Kim slipped into my pocket. I was less interested and forgot to throw it away.

I tried calling her Tina but she wasn’t answering her phone, it kept on ringing until she switched it off.

The children woke up and I made breakfast for them.

“Where is moms?" Jody asked.

“She'll be back my Angel” I didn’t know what to say to my 5-year-old daughter to might have lost her mom’s.

Catherine walked in and I told her what happened, I left her with the kids and got in my car and drove off...

I went to my sister’s house first and Tina wasn’t there so I went to her old house and she wasn't there either, I even went to the park where she normally sits to relieve stress but she wasn't there. I drove to her house and still no sign of her. I sat in the car so frustrated. If anything ever happens to Tina I will never forgive myself.

Catherine ordered Pizza for us when I got home.

“Has she called or come back?” I asked Catherine pacing up and down the kitchen

“No Darling” she replied.

I went to my room and sat on the bed, I cried in my hands... what if she meets Rachel and she hits her or harasses her in any way. I got up and walked out the door into my car and saw her outside in her car, crying.

“Christina! Christina!” I yelled in relief. “Look baby, I am so sorry, let me explain please don't drive away.” I said walking to her, she looked at me emotionlessly.

“I'm just here to get Ty, I'm leaving” she said

I opened the door of the car and got in.

“No! you will not do that, Okay? Just hear me out. I met Kim yesterday while I was selling, she came up to me and we went for ice creams next thing she wanted to kiss me and I declined, telling her I'm getting married. I walked away and she came back putting abd put a piece of paper you saw, in my pocket. I didn't even bother looking at it, I forgot it was even there... I love you so much, I would never cheat on you. f**k you’re my everything Tina and we’re getting married Period, so get out of this car and let’s finish planning our wedding” I sternly said.
