Prologue

It was a normal day. Families were happily bonding, and it could clearly be seen, based from their glad expressions. Working people were busily rushing through the sidewalks, the goal of being early set in their minds. Perhaps they woke up late, hence why they had no choice, but to do so. In fact, a lot of people were bustling around the streets. The noise of all their voices in sync sounded like a swarm of bees, buzzing their way amongst the flower field, except this flower field was filled with tall and firm skyscrapers, along with multicolored buildings.       In a certain building, lied a hidden room. If you were to look at it, you would think it was but part of the wall. Try to look closely, and you might just see the tiniest door know. Its color blended so well with the door, that it was difficult to find it, if you have a hard time diffrentiating shades. Opening the door, you would find a musty and slightly dark room. The dim and flickering lights was the only source of light in that room.  In the middle of the room, stood a man in his late 40s. His dull, sunken in eyes were focused on the test tube in front of him. Carefully, he lowered the eyedropper, it being a few millimeters from the tube. Once deeming it a safe enough distance, he squeezed, causing one single drop of the yellowish substance to fall into the orange substance in the test tubes. He backed away a bit, just in case it would go wrong. When he saw that nothing happened, except for the fact that it turned into a crimson shade of red, he smiled in triumph.        At last, all his years of deep commitment to this matter had paid off. Happily, he took the test tube and went to his test subject. There, the body of a dead woman lied on the cold surface of the white table. Her pale, yet lifeless, complexion gently shining against the dim lights. He held onto her cold, outstreched hand and entertwined his fingers with hers.        He brought their interlocked hands to his cheek and closed his eyes, letting out a soft sigh. "My dearest Victoria. At last and I will finally be able to have you in my arms again." He whispered. Before any of us would know, he brought the test tube to her blue, cracked, yet set apart lips. He carefully poured the fluid into her mouth, the liquid slowly going down her throat and into her dead system. A few minutes had gone by, yet still, nothing. He was about to give up, believing that he got something wrong.       He placed her hand down, only to see them twitch the tiniest bit. His dark orbs widened, glimmering with hope. Slowly, the body of the once dead Victoria, rose. The scientist, that of whom was named Ernesto, fell onto his knees, tears welling up in his eyes. "Oh my Victoria, finally, you are back!" He cried out, outstretching both his arms. A few moments of silence passed, causing him to furrow his eyebrows.       "Victoria?" He called out. He stood up from where he was kneeled down on, and walked to his undead lover. "My love, Victoria. Speak to me." He said softly, his hand gently holding on to her shoulder. Victoria slowly moved her head to look at him, her neck making a series of cracking noises. Ernesto stared in horror at his Victoria, immediately retrieving his hand back.       There, sat in front of him, was indeed his Victoria. However, it was not the Victoria that he used to know. Her eyes were hazed up, and was a mixed of mud brown and yellow in color. He skin was sickly pale, yet beheld various vains of red and green. Most of all, the look in her eyes. That was what terrified him most. Her eyes. It held nothing but a crazed and starved glint. Her lips twisted into a disgusting lopsided grin. Before he had the time to run away, she gripped on to his neck, her black nails sinking into his skin.       Ernesto cried out in pain, feeling blood slowly rush down like a vast river. He stared in fear as she latched on to his form, causing the remains of the orange substance to fly on to a few random bodies that he had kept there. Victoria sank her teeth on to his side, chomping on the skin there. The only thing you could here was the disgusting sound of skin being ripped off, and his pained wails. He had his eyes shut, almost unable to bear the pain. His eyes immediately shot open once he heard not one, but a good amount of ragged breathing.       Despite feeling the pain of Victoria chewing on him, he turned his head to look at the source of the sounds. He regretted doing that.        There, stood more people, or as he presumed they were, that of whom were in the same state as Victoria. Before he could even blink, they all ran to where he and Victoria were at. They all began to devour him, chomping on different parts of him. They all started to devour Ernesto, bit by bit. The last you hear was his shouts of agony, which all went unheard to the people outside. Thinking no one would come find him and his hidden area, he left the door open. Of course, no one would be too much aware, nor do they have the potential to see what the future beheld for them.         The undead beings, were left with now nothing but the mangled form of the once alive Ernesto. Victoria, desperate to taste the exact same meat, and feel it in her mouth, looked around. Once she saw the opening, she stood up and ran to the door, the other following suit. Once out in the open, they all scattered, their eyes with a look of crazed excitement, seeing all the people walking around. None of the people knew, until they heard continuous screaming.          The skies turned gray, the sun hiding behind it, not knowing to see the gory scene underneath it. There was screaming everywhere, along with blood being splattered. It had become hell on earth.                                                                            ==VICTORIA==
