Austin The beeping pierces the darkness, shattering the silence. I groan, fumbling until I locate the device and silence it. With a sigh, I peel back the covers, the Wyoming air nipping at my skin. "Stupid alarm," I mutter. But as slumber lifts, purpose takes root. The horses need me. Slipping into my boots, I stride to the barn. The scent of hay and leather envelops me. Whickering echoes through the stillness, a melody calming my soul. "Morning, beauties," I murmur, running a calloused hand along Vanna's coat. Her nuzzle against my shoulder ignites my motivation. With efficiency, I replenish feed and water, shovel bedding with rhythmic cadence. The exertion invigorates, my muscles humming. This sanctuary allows me to lose myself in honest work. Sunlight paints the sky in vibrant hue
