I stalked the pureblood from the shadows. I had been watching this one for weeks because he was stronger than the others I have faced so far. He was completely oblivious to the fact that I had been stalking him.
I wanted revenge on the purebloods far killing my brother Emrald. We are an ancient race of vampires called a Moon Vampire. I'm the princess of this race, and I rule darkness.
The vampire turned around and saw me. I lifted my hands up towards the sky, and a beautiful Moon Scythe appeared. The vampire looked at me in awe and terror. The scythe came down and wrapped around his neck, making the cut clean. His head came off and rolled to my feet. His eyes still held that look of awe and terror. His blood bathed my feet, and I basked in what little revenge I did exact tonight. I stood there for a bit longer, loving every minute. I bent down to the headless corpse and drank to my fill. Purebloods always have the sweetest blood, so why waste it. I stood up and spat down on him in disrespect. I wiped my mouth off and walked into the forest
"Well, it seems we have a woman killing purebloods. Why?"
The voice came out of nowhere. I jumped and was ready for anything, but then I saw this dark-haired figure standing there looking at me with a question in his bright, emrald green eyes. Wow, he has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
"It seems I have startled you. I'll ask again, Why are you killing the purebloods?"
"Well, I would tell you, but I'm not going to cause you we're rude. You didn't introduce yourself." I told him and started to walk away, but he was in front of me before I could take a step.
"Now, no need to walk away from me, I'm Damien, and you are?" He asked me
"Why should I tell you?" I asked with a sneer.
"Well, it would be rude of you since I told you mine." He said with a strike.
"I'm Sapphire, happy now?" I asked, trying to hide the smile playing at my lips. I didn't want him to know he was getting to me.
"Sapphire... such a pretty name, and it matches your appearance. Don't think I've ever seen a creature as beautiful as you." He said, looking me up and down
"You're a supernatural and don't know anything about me?" I asked him
"I'm a dragon, so I don't bother with the other races, and from the looks of it, you're a special vampire." He said with boostfullness and confidence.
"Well, if you must know, I'm a Moon Vampire, I rule Darkness." I told him.
His eyes got wide, and he bowed his head.
"That explains why you're so beautiful." He said under his breath, thinking I didn't hear him, but since I am a Moon Vampire, I did.
"Thank you, but there's no need. I'm not my mother." I said back to him
He raised his head and looked at me.
"Another question, Why are you killing pureblod? They are part of your mother's creation. Why kill them?"
"I want revenge! They killed my brother. Is that a good enough reason for you?"
"I guess I would want the same thing if my brother was killed. Would you accept me on your quest?" He asked
"What are you? If you don't mind me asking, then I will give you my answer." I said back to him
"I'm a Dragon. Is that gonna be an issue?" he asked
I didn't know much about dragons that was my father's creation, and I never needed to learn about them since Emrald was gonna take over that part, but I guess it falls on my shoulders now maybe I could use a strong dragon to help me.
"Don't get in my way, dragon. You do smell nice, so I would enjoy you very much." I said my eyes, glowing violet.
He gave me a look of terror.
"OK ok I get it. So where to next?"
"We're going to Bone City. Find a safe place to rest before sunrise. I can be out in the sun, but it hurts me a little and makes me uncomfortable." I reluctantly told him not wanting to reveal any of my weaknesses. I guess he heard my reluctance in my voice and looked at me with soft eyes.
"I would never reveal your weaknesses. You can trust me, dragons honor." He said to me.
"OK, well, let's get going before the sun comes up."
We took off at a dead run as fast as we could towards the vampire capital of the world, I looked at my new companion he was really handsome. Long dark hair shaved on the sides. He had it put up in a braid down the middle and tied in the back to keep out of his eyes. Those eyes were beautiful, bright emrald green I could get lost in them forever. I shook my head. What was I thinking? I can't think like that right now. So I stopped looking at him.
We came to the city just in time. The town had everything that a vampire needed. Coffin hotels, blood banks, and so on. Also, in the perfect place where mundane humans couldn't find it.
"You want to go to the Marge? They have great blood wine there." Damien asked me.
"It's the closest place, and I need to get inside before the sun comes up." I told him, glancing around and checking my surroundings.
We headed off to the hotel. When we walked in, the desk lady greeted us.
" Would you like our special today?"
"What is the special?" Damien asked
"It's half off on luxury coffins." she answered him
"We will take a room with two, please. " I told her and handed her my card.
"Your room number is 68. Thank you, and check out is sunset." She said while handing me my card and keys to our room.
We came to our room, and it had the best view of the forest.
"I'll take the white coffin. I'll just keep the lid open." he said, trying to make his coffin look more bed like.
I laughed at him. It was kinda funny to see a dragon trying to fit into a vampire world.
"I'm glad you let me have the lavender one." I told him with a smile on my face.
"I kinda figured you would want the purple one. Have a good morning. I'll see you when the sun sets." He said to me while climbing into his coffin and trying to get comfortable.
"See you at sunset." I said to him.
I got into my lavender coffin and relaxed. How I came across a dragon, a sexy dragon at that I do not know. His blood is so intoxicating and smells so good. I'm fighting the urge to go suck his blood. I closed the lid to my coffin, hoping that would help, but of course, it did not. I fell asleep thinking about how good he would taste.
