Chapter 3

We ran down the path that led to the castle where Vincent stayed. The castle like building was far back in the forest. That way, humans didn't find it. He liked being away from them and for a vampire that was strange to me. He always said never allow anyone to scare you, so I was on guard the whole way down the path. We got to the front steps and stopped. "Do you really think this is a good idea?" Damien asked from behind me. "No, it's never a good idea to walk into a vampires' house, but he did invite us." I said, turning around to face him. From behind him, I saw the slightest movement. I flung my right arm out and held my left hand up; the moon scythe appeared in my left hand, and the vampire was pulled from the shadows with my right. He gave a gasp of surprise when I caught him. "LET ME GO, MOON VAMPIRE!" He yelled at me while I was holding him up by the throat. "Why should I? I think I will have a little snack before I see dear ole Vincent." I said with an evil smirk and eyes glowing violet. "You sicken me, Moon Vampire." He snarled at me. With that, I latched to his throat, and he screamed in pain. He was struggling in my hands while I continued to suck his blood. He stopped struggling, and his life faded away. I dropped him to the ground, picked up the moon scythe, and chopped his head off. No blood came from the fatal wound I made. His body turned to ash. We walked up the steps and knocked on the wooden doors. The door flung open, and I jumped back in surprise. The door had never opened that fast. It was too heavy. "Hello Sapph, nice to see you again. You have a male companion. Don't be rude, Sapph introduce us." "What, Introduce yourself, jerk." "Always so stubborn, I'm Vincent Valor, and you are?" " My name isn't important for you to know. You will be ashes soon." he said to him, his pupils turning to slits and eyes having a golden hue to them. "Sapph, you found and dragon?" "Is that a problem? Do I make you uncomfortable vampire scumbag." "Well, now that introductions are over. Would you like to know why I invited you here?" Vincent said to me, completely ignoring Damien. "Not really, but it seems you are eager to tell me." I said back to him, slowly backing towards the door. Damien understood and was slowly backing towards the door with me. "I want your blood Sapph. I recently found out that your blood gives me the powers of the draconian bat.I found this out by drinking Emralds blood. We're out of his blood now, Sapphire, and need to restock. Are you gonna willing give it to me, or am I gonna have to force you?" Before I could answer, he attacked, I pulled the moon scythe out just in time to block him. He stopped, and his wings sprung from his back, and his eyes started to glow red. I found my opportunity to make a run for it. "DAMIEN,OPEN THE DOORS NOW!" I said, running straight at him. He got the doors open just in time for me to slide out. Damien had his knight sword out, and they clashed in mid-air. The power they both had was enough to shake the forest floor. I turned towards the forestand away from the fight. Just like I knew he would, he had us surrounded on all sides. Damn him! What did I get us into? I thought to myself and ran out to face the purebloods. They didn't come at me, though it was like they were waiting on someone. "Nice to see you again,Sapphire." I knew that voice anywhere. She was standing in the shadows. How could I not notice. "Surprised you didn't I?" "No, not really." I lied. She was standing at the edge of the forest, her red hair blowing and eyes glowing red. "Vincent knew you would run, so he told me to make sure you don't escape." She said, pulling out her dagger. "Alright, bitc*h if it's a fight you it's a fight you'll get!" I said and launched myself at her moon scythe raised. Witches Cauldron
