Chapter 10I won’t bore you with descriptions of my hangover. Let’s just say, I was feeling…tender, on that first of January. Waking up in Scott’s bed. As I drifted back to consciousness, there was a battle in my head between feeling sucky and hungover, and the bliss of being wrapped in warm bedsheets that radiated the scent of him. Mmmmmm, he smelled good. For a while, that was enough—I managed to stave off the misery of my headache with the enjoyment of just lying in that bed. Gradually, though, other things pressed in for my attention. My bladder, for one. The prickly question of “why am I in Scott’s bed?” being another.
