Aiden’s P.O.V

I nearly forced myself on her. What am I thinking? I’m a ruthless gang leader not a r****t. I had to take out my frustrations on her after. I decided to go take a shower before I sleep. My mom has been calling me a lot in the past days. She is asking where I am sleeping these days. She knows I have my own house, but I sleep at home. I lied to her saying I have a new girlfriend and she was so happy. If only she knew. I trust my guards, but I will never leave Zenith here alone. I might have been torturing her, but I only trust myself with her. After taking a shower, I went to sleep.

The next morning, I went to the mall to do some clothes, toiletry and food shopping for her. When I was done, I put everything in my car boot. Before I could get in the car and drive, I was approached by the “mighty Brook”. “Can I help you chunk?” I smirked.

“Give her back, I know you took her. Don’t even try to deny Black Lord.”

“Firstly, you don’t deserve to call me by that name. Secondly, okay I won’t deny it since well you asked.”

“I’m serious!!! You think I’m her for fun? This is not about gang rivalry anymore, its personal. You took my little sister and you acting as if we are fighting for a deal.”

“Your little sister? A little birdie told me you didn’t like her. So why are you concerned? What even makes you think that I’m behind sweetheart’s disappearance? I found out from Naomi that she is missing.”

“She is not your sweetheart! And I saw that book you recommended her. You gave yourself away Sir.”

“Oh, she read my book. I thought she would read it last. She must like me a lot. Don’t worry I will look for my sweet little princess too. She will soon make me your brother-in law surely.”

BROOK’S P.O.V

What???! He fancies Zen? Not this jerk! I will never allow it. And why is he acting dumb? He knows where she is. I’m sure of it. “You don’t get to like her…stay away from my little Aiden before you see hell.” I said

“Really? What makes you think you can say that to me? Have I ever listened to i***t threats before? NO…So stay away from me Brook! We are not friends, remember?”

He got in his car and left. One of the team guys followed him to where he is going. He informed us that he went to his home and we decided to watch over so we can see where he is going later.

Hours passed and he didn’t come out. It was midnight now, maybe his bodyguards are watching over Zen at one of his warehouses. I know that he wants revenge with the drugs saga. We watched for the whole week. He went to just normal places, not weird places. He went to one of his warehouses, and he was only training his guys. If he has kidnapped her, why isn’t he checking on her?

BACK AT AIDEN’S HOUSE

Aiden kept on punishing Zenith for the whole week. No one knew how he was able to go to his house without being noticed. Zenith got weaker everyday and lost weight. Her golden-brown eyes lost light and hope. It didn’t seem as if Aiden was going to have mercy on her anytime soon.

AIDEN’S P.O.V

Brook thinks I’m stupid. I know his team is following me around. My house is not far from my parent’s house and there is an underground tunnel used by only me. I found it when I bought my parents the house. I adjusted it to my own house. To do that, I had to buy the land round it and pretend as if I was renovating the house in my land.

After making Zenith’s food, I went to her room. “Time to eat sweetheart.” I said.

“I don’t want to eat anymore”

“Give me one reason why I should listen to you before I get mad love”

“I am going to die anyway”

“So, you wanna die hungry?”

“How is food going to benefit me again?”

“You will die with a well-fed body. God will see that I was at least taking care of my sweetheart”

“But look at me, I look like I have no soul. I am a wreck. I am becoming more unattractive. I have bruises all over my body. I even cried until I ran out of tears, only for them to come back the next day. Is this taking care of someone?”

“Oh no no no…that’s your brothers fault dear. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be punishing you like that. One more thing, don’t ever say you are unattractive, unless you want me to beat you up the whole night. Trust me, I can do that.” It looks like I silenced her. “After another week, I will make a deal with your brothers. If they don’t succeed, you are stuck with Black Lord forever baby” I said.

“So, for that deal to happen, you better behave Miss Zenith Pride James, or I will kill you without feeling any remorse. You gonna eat this food, take a bath, watch TV if you want and sleep like a little sweetheart should. Got that?” I added.

“Yes.”

“Good…something tells me this is going to be a good week. You might have a little hope again.”

She started eating instantly and went to take a bath. She didn’t watch tv though. I brought her one of my favourite books and she read it before sleeping. While she was doing that, I thought of a great deal that the Black’s brothers won’t refuse to save their little sister. I am Black Lord and they won’t see what’s coming.

Brook and his team didn’t succeed in tracking Aiden. Everyone in the Black household started sleeping with heavy hearts. The police weren’t succeeding in finding Zenith too.

Surprisingly, Aiden didn’t touch Zenith for the whole week. He only gave her creams to apply to her bruised body. He gave her food and books and didn’t speak much to her. Zenith was shocked by his behavior but kept quiet about it. She was getting her body back because Aiden was feeding her more and giving her vitamin supplements. It was like she was living in a normal house except coming out of her room.
