Day 2.5

A week ago. Status Report: Two days outside the new wall, we found a new type of death that was outside close to the border of the wall. It seemed to hide from the sun or something else when we first found it. We put it in the car when we crossed the border to Arizona. We heard hissing and hollowing as if it were scared. We then got here to get her. He put down the tablet when he saw that the message was sent as he saw his more solid trying to get to another dead that was with his sister the days behind as he was about to comment on something, he saw how the dead were built differently, and that was when he questioned if it was a female or male. The dead they got was fighting and not waiting to get killed. That is when one of his soldiers said. I thought she said that we had to bring back a girl! Screamed one of the soldiers as she jumped out of the way. Others got up and back away as they looked at the dead as it just looked at them. Is it just me, or does it seem to be waiting for a single? She said as she brought her hand closer to her holster; the only time she had contact with death was when the world was ending. She brought out her gun to point it at the dead when one of the strongest of the dead they caught the days before getting the dead in front of her came. She told her gun at the other dead as she looked between them. They looked at each other. They started a fire since the driver of the camper left when they didn’t make it back on time. When the dead looked at each other, they began to growl. That is when they noticed that their deceased was smaller than the other. She saw how the dead they just bought looked at the other dead as if he was a thing that would get in his way. He got into a wired stance that wasn’t familiar to her but was to him as he gasped as he remembered. She lowered herself like a monkey, ready to jump from one tree to another. He was confused about why she thought that would stop him from attacking her. He got off the chair. Just as the chair was going to hit the floor, she jumped at him with a speed that he hadn’t seen in his sister as she dropped him. He was on his chest, and she was on his back just as he would go to her. She looked up as she said. This is why I didn’t want to do this. She said as she dropped him on his face and went out of the doenjang. He saw the smaller dead do the same as his sister did to Tony. They move as fast as light and don’t even flinch with anything as if it were normal for them to be this fast. They moved simultaneously with the dead they had brought with them as they saw how he gets s**t beaten by a person smaller than him. The dead they had brought had taken quite a beating as well as the other, but they didn’t see the dead in the trees as they were getting ready to sleep. They were getting ready to attack. They just smiled as they heard the growling of their stomach. They went back inside. They closed the door as she looked at them. She saw their face as she smiled, bent down to touch the youngest cheek as she looked at the oldest, and said. You saw how he put his hand up. He is going to be okay. Plus, in the little time we know him, he is a stubborn person and will be fine. Come on. She said as she grabbed the youngest and lifted him as she looked at her oldest, and they went to the bathroom as they slowly fell asleep. She was looking at them, angry that she couldn’t get to them on time to stop all of this from happening to them. She just wanted to protect them from everything, even from herself. She looked at her as she looked at her kids, ensuring they were safe. She knew then as she knows now that she will protect the light that her lover has left. She will protect the family that she found, no matter the cause. She thought as she saw her. She saw how she was sitting. She knew that she was tired and stressed and angry. She growled since she didn’t like seeing her like this as she then grabbed the person she had in her hands by the hair. She held them by the neck and asked. Where are they? She said as they just laughed as they said. They are long gone. They smirked as they then got knocked out. She was sitting in front of her house, looking at the dead around her. It was night. As she looked in shock, she knew that even though they had a fear of heat and fire. They still ensured that the fire they had made for them was big enough to make enough light s o no more dead came near them. She knew that not everything happening was expected, but then again, they lived next to zombies. Why should anything be normal? She sighed as she looked at her oldest, who looked back at the youngest of all three, who had blood on them. Who smiled as he said. You taught us how to fight, and we will fight as long as we can live in this world. She sighed as she hugged her kids as remembered what had happened throughout the day. She let go of her kids as they looked at her, then said. Why must that something happen? Are we always in the middle of it? She asked herself as the kids looked at her and said. Because we are the only people here now, her kids said as they saw that the dead that protected them came with papers for the oldest. She got up as she asked. What is this for? She asked as the dead went on the floor to write something; she got distracted. As she saw they were carrying, Noah was somewhat trying to comfort Noah. As she looked at her oldest with worry in her eyes. Her most senior only looked at her friend as she wanted to comfort him as he did for her. But she knew he might not want to be near her with how she acted. She got upset at the fact but not towards him but towards himself, since she was the one who pushed him away. Or at least this is how she feels. She sighed as she turned to the oldest and looked at her as if to say, ‘Don’t worry, I’m Okay. And then grabbed the youngest as he let out a shocked squeak as she spoke. We will be inside the house. The dead needed her as she grabbed the paper and was about to read it when the dead then pointed to the house. As she went to the house, she sighed, sat on the ground, and looked at the slow, holding each other. She looked at the paper in her hand; she sighed as she decided not to read it, then she looked at the dead across the street. She saw how they cared for each other as she saw some of them playing Noah, something she and Vicky would do when he was upset. She sighed as she looked down at the ground and inhaled and exhaled. They cried so much last night. She said to nobody as she closed her eyes, put her head in her hands, and looked at the sky. She looked at the house across the street when she saw how many deads had died earlier that day. She just sighed as she looked at her home, and she was upset that she felt so helpless that she couldn’t do much to help them. When she saw that they were bringing more dead away from the houses, she just put her head on her knees as she cried. Don’t worry, I’ll find them soon. And you won’t have to cry anymore.
