"Major General Blackwood is holding back. His face is all swollen!"
"Wow, Major General Blackwood fought back! Maris is crying!"
"They both went back to their tents!"
It was like a live battle report. Lots of people were jumping around excitedly, deliberately shouting updates right in front of me.
I found it a little funny, but didn't say much.
I just didn't expect that news to reach Prince Kaelen's ears.
After the evening meeting, he asked me to stay behind.
"In a couple of days, we'll start the attack on Gorgons pass Town. The armored war wolves will lead the charge and break through the enemy lines."
"No problem," I answered confidently.
These past days, I'd been training the armored war wolves every day, and I was sure I could lead them well.
