Chapter Nine: Rejection and Pleasure.

EMBER.

Stunned by Alec's words, I let Lily come forward and speak for me.

'Hello mate, Ember has let me come forward to talk. As you know, all Royals have powers, Ember has now unlocked ours. We have the ability to see visions, not so much as a Seer but close.

Our dream entailed some very gruesome acts, one in which you were tortured, all to get Ember and mine attention. This lead to us being taken too.'

"By who Lily?" Alec asked, his voice shaking.

'You already know the answer dear mate. Now treat my human how she deserves, you can start by removing the Gamma family from their positions. If you don't, you are as naive and simple as our father said you were.'

Coming back to the front, I stared at Alec, waiting for his response, his eyes darkening and I find myself flinching as I know its his wolf.

Gage.

'Hello mate.'

I gave a small wave and he purred before leaning closer, bringing his nose to my hair. I shivered at the touch, its the closest we have been.

'Alec hasn't unlocked our gift but I fear your visions may be what is to come if you do not accept us. Your father can't take you if you are marked and mated.

I know you are not ready and I won't push but I need you to know, if we don't act soon, your father will come and take you away from me.'

Waiting for Alec to return, his eyes turned a little lighter and soon, his chocolate buttons were staring right back at me.

"What do we do Ember?" he asked, my name sounding good as is dripped off his tongue.

I shrugged as I picked up my phone, a message from Arianna gaining my attention.

Arianna: The King is going to be here at 4pm tommorow. Keep Alec away from the Castle. We fear he may act impulsively.

Me: Yes boss.

"You can't call me Ember in public. I'll be wearing my usual attire-"

"So you'll be Amelia to the world?" Alec asked and I nodded. "But you'll be Ember here right?"

"As long as its only with us- then yes." I answered and I must admit, the smile that spread across Alec's face was infectious.

"What does this mean for us as mates? What about the matebond?" he asked and I sighed.

The image of his beaten body will haunt my brain forever.

"Erm, I'm not exactly sure. My body reacts to you, but things that have happened- With Mia and your hypocrisy... I don't know Alec, I- I dont." I buried my head in my hands, my fingers trembling slightly.

"Mia means absolutely nothing to me Ember."

"She touches you-"

"Ember. She means nothing to me. How can I prove it?"

As I open my mouth to talk, someone knocks at the door.

I run into the bathroom while Alec speaks to them, hearing Evan's voice through the walls, I take a deep breath and head out, back into rhe room.

Inhaling the pizza smell, I moaned before noticing there was also chicken wings and is that cookies?

"Lyle said chicken wings and cookies were your favourite." Alec smiled as he took a slice of pizza from the box.

"Looking good Princess." Evan grinned. "I knew you were different."

I rolled my eyes at him, I no longer need him to help me annoy Alec but he is entertaining enough.

Listening in to Evan and Alec's conversation, I made a point to not actually take notice of what they say because its clear they want my attention. Instead, I turned on the tv and put on some trashy reality show, being hopeful that their activities distract me enough from the idiots beside me.

Looking out the window, I see the Laryndale Castle from afar, the blue and red flag in the air, waving quietly, letting us know that the Monarchy will be out of the castle tommorow.

'Lily, do you think we need to cut ties with the pack?'

'For our safety, yes. We have our mate, a pack we can call ours when we are ready to. Emmy, I don't care about the Laryndale Kingdom, not after what they have done. We need to cut ties, and fast.'

Agreeing with my wolf, I turned to Alec, his smile shining as he spoke with Evan.

"Evan, can I speak to Alec, alone." I asked though he knows he has no choice.

"If I say no-"

"OUT." Alec's Alpha voice vibrated the walls and I smirked at Evan.

I hesitantly sat between Alec's legs and positioned myself with my back to him. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and I leaned into his hold, his warmth.

Goddess this feels amazing.

"This feels nice." I whispered amd he nodded, his chin rested on my shoulder, his lips inches away from my neck.

From my marking spot.

"Do you like this Ember?" Alec asked, his voice low as he pressed a soft kiss to my neck. I nodded making him chuckle. "Why all of a sudden?"

"Because I need to denounce my father as my Alpha and cut ties with my pack. That way, it makes it harder for him to take me away." I answered honestly. "Being held this close to you will help my pain."

"Okay." he whispered. "I've got you,"

Taking in a deep breath, I closed my eyes.

'I Ember Vanderbilt, daughter of King Edmond Vanderbilt and Queen Emerald Vanderbilt, Princess of Laryndale hereby reject Edmond Vanderbilt as my Alpha, Emerald Vanderbilt as my Luna and reject the Laryndale Kingdom as my own.'

Crying out as the ache that soared in my heart ripped me apart.

My hands clutched my chest as I sobbed, tears pouring from my eyes, as everything I have ever known parts ways with me.

No longer feeling any link, my crying slowly stopped, my heart slowly pieced itself back together.

Alec's warmth, his calmness seeped its way into my mind and I leaned into him as he held me tighter.

"Sleep." he kissed my neck. "I'll be here when you wake up. I'm not leaving."

Feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders, I grunted before realising its just Alec.

Smiling as I remember how he held me, how he told everyone who knocked on the door to get lost.

He whispered sweet nothings in my ears till I fell asleep.

I was raised to hate him.

To despise his family.

To fight this pack.

"Good morning," his rugged voice took me from my thoughts and I smiled, my fingers ran themselves through his hair and he groaned.

"Good morning." I whispered. "Thank you for last night."

"You're welcome." he grinned before pulling me back down to the bed and nuzzling his face in my neck.

Not removing his hands from my waist or telling him to stop, I allowed myself to relax in his warmth for a few moments.

We won't get many moments like this and if I choose to not reject him, I'll be spending more time as his guard than I will in his bed.

"Ugh you smell so good." he groaned. "I could hold you like this forever."

"I'm pretty sure the smell is the fresh cinnamon buns downstairs. And if you're lucky." I chuckled as I lifted the covers off myself and rolled out of bed.

Walking into the bathroom, I stripped myself naked before turning on the shower.

The cold breeze hit my shoulders, my n*****s hardened, goosebumps raising across my skin. Stepping foot under the water, I sighed in content as the warm waterfall rinsed my skin.

Hearing a thud, I panicked as Alec's scent grew closer. my eyes widened as he stood in all his glory, his eyes wondering over my body as if hes taking me all in.

"What are you doing!?" I snapped. "This is my shower."

"Well I want to join you." he shrugged as he stepped in, his eyes darkening.

His arms caged me in and I frowned as I realised I have nowhere to go. Water droplets hug from his hair, trailing down his body, officially making this the sexiest thing I've ever seen.

My breathing quickened and I gasped as Alec's lips found my neck, sucking on the spot that would bear his mark.

"Goddess Ember, you are so f*****g gorgeous. Look at you, your body is practically crying out for me." he growled as his fingers slyly slipped between ny thighs, swirling around in my wetness, a moan broke from me, my eyes closing as I moved my hips towards him, I frowned as he pulled away with a smirk.

A whimper escaped my lips, but was swallowed immediately by Alec's mouth.

My body feels like its going to explode, mixed with the arousal from just moments ago and the pleasure I'm feeling from our kiss. His lips are soft, just like pillows and he tastes sweet, just like strawberries.

His tongue parted my lips, swirling around my mouth as one hand slowly moved towards my throat, the other hand, back down between my thighs.

"Alec!" I gasped as his fingers gently made their way in, my eyes rolling back as I started to rock my hips back and fourth.

His lips found my neck again, I cry out as my body betrays me, Alec sucks and bites. The pleasure building up, becoming unbearable.

I cling to Alec, my nails slicing his shoulders as I hump his fingers, unashamedly.

"Oh my Goddess! Alec!" I cried out as I gushed all over his thighs, my eyes closing as my body went numb.

Collapsing down as an orgasm tore through me, my first ever one. I rested my head on his chest, his hand moving from my throat, his fingers moving from my thigh.

We stayed together, pressed against the wall, his hands caressed my wasit as my fingers traced patterns along his back.

"Thank you." he whispered and I pulled away. "For letting me go that far with you."

"I wasn't planning on it." I answered honestly. "But, I'm not mad that I did. Infact..." my fingers moved down his shaft making him hiss. "I might return the favour tonight."

His eyes lit up once more, a smile breaking out before he rinsed us both off and grabbed me a towel.

Getting dressed, he watched in amazement as I transformed into Amelia Blackwell.

Gone are my red curls, back is my long black hair.

"I miss your curls." he mumbled as he handed me my bag.

"You'll see them again." I laughed. "Come on, I want cinnamon buns."

Alec pulled my chair out for me as we entered the kitchen, abnormal smiles on everybody's faces as they watched us.

Lyle wiggled his eyebrows and I rolled my eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"We heard you." Evan laughed. "Glad to see that you guys are getting on."

"Literally." Lyle laughed and I rolled my eyes before turning to Alec.

"The rooms here aren't sound proof?"

"The Alpha ones are... you know..."

Yes. I know.

When any Werewolves mate, its loud, passionate and messy but when an Alpha mates, its multiplied by a hundred.

Now put that as two Alphas... nobody needs to hear that. Well... they can but it wouldn't be pretty.

So if I'm to be intimate with Alec I have to move into his room?

Well... it looks like I'm moving.
