Part 18

From the next day onward, regular classes began in the college, and ragging also started in full swing. Kishore and Saniya were not ragged too much. But Aaron and his team faced ragging in a big way. This became another reason for Aaron and his team to increase their hostility toward Kishore and Saniya.

One day, Kishore’s vehicle was parked inside the college parking lot. Aaron came with his vehicle and hit Kishore’s vehicle, causing heavy damage. Kishore went straight to Aaron to ask him about it. In anger, Kishore said:

Kishore: “Aaron, why did you bring your vehicle and hit mine?”

Aaron, pretending as if he knew nothing and in a mocking tone, said:

Aaron: “Did I hit? Oh, sorry… I did it unknowingly.”

Saying that, he tried to walk away.

Kishore: “Aaron, where are you going? You must repair my vehicle before leaving.”

Aaron: “I can’t… I already told you it was a mistake, it happened unknowingly.”

Kishore: “I told you, you have to repair my vehicle. Whether you did it knowingly or unknowingly, that doesn’t matter.”

Aaron: “I cannot repair it. You should have parked your vehicle to the side properly.”

Kishore: “I had parked it properly on the side. Anyway, if you don’t want to repair it, at least give me the payment for it. I will get it repaired myself.”

Aaron: “I won’t repair it, and I won’t give you any money. You go file a case. I will see the rest.”

Kishore: “Okay then.”

Kishore walked away.

After some time, Aaron’s friend called him urgently to come near the parking lot. When Aaron reached there, he saw Kishore smashing Aaron’s vehicle with an iron rod.

Aaron ran toward him to hit him.

Aaron: “Hey…!”

He kicked Kishore, making him fall to the ground. But Kishore immediately jumped up and hit Aaron back. He punched Aaron in the stomach with his right hand and then landed a left-handed punch straight on his face. With that single blow, blood started flowing from Aaron’s nose. Kishore didn’t stop there; he kept hitting without holding back. A big fight broke out, and Kishore beat Aaron badly. Aaron eventually collapsed.

After finishing the beating, Kishore said:

Kishore: “I don’t have time to go behind cases. So now you go and file a case, I will handle the rest.”

Saying this, he showed his mass attitude and walked away.

Even when the fight broke out, no one tried to stop it or interfere. Neither Aaron’s friends nor Kishore’s friends intervened. Since both had minor injuries, they were admitted to the hospital.

When the doctor asked what had happened, they brushed it off as nothing serious.

Later, while in the hospital, Aaron and his friends made a plan to attack Kishore alone someday.

Friend: “Aaron, let’s hit him during the college festival. That way no one will know, and no problem will arise.”

Aaron: “No need… that would be embarrassing. He beat me alone, right?”

Friend: “Then you start it alone, and the rest of us will handle the rest.”

Aaron didn’t reply to that.

Kishore got discharged immediately, while Aaron got discharged late. So neither of them went to college that day.

The next day, both Aaron and Kishore went to college. Then both of them were suspended for fifteen days.

Part 19

After the fifteen-day suspension, the day came when both returned to college. Everyone was eagerly waiting, expecting that Aaron and Kishore would again clash. But nothing like that happened. Everything went normally, and classes went on without problems. Ragging also continued.

Ragging lasted till almost half of the first year — that is, until the first-semester exam. Before the exam, there were some small functions, but still, Aaron and Kishore didn’t have any issues. The first-semester exams were over. Between the first and second semesters, many festivals were conducted.

The biggest festival among them was Arts Day. During Arts Day, a beauty contest was also held.

Arts Day was a program that lasted for eight full days, with many competitions. The first competition was the beauty contest. It had two sections: the first section was pairs, and the second section was singles.

In the pair competition, Aaron and Lisa participated as a team. Similarly, some other teams also participated. Out of rivalry with Aaron and Lisa, Saniya and Kishore also participated. The pair competition ended. In that, the pair of Lisa and Aaron won the second prize, while Saniya and Kishore got fourth place.

After that came the competition meant only for girls. That year, the title of Miss College Beauty was won by Lisa.

During the other competitions that followed, Aaron again clashed with Kishore. But before the issue could escalate further, the seniors stepped in and solved it.

Aaron’s friends felt very upset that they couldn’t manage to beat Kishore. But after that, no major problems happened between them.
