Chapter 4

~Caspian “s**t! s**t! Why, why would she do this?” I growled in frustration as I watched the video clip my assistant had sent to me. It was a video of Finna, talking down and even hitting an omega who was part of the flying crew on one of Moonlit luxury planes. Picking up my office phone, I snapped at my assistant, “Get me Finna, now!” before slamming the phone back down. “You need to calm down, Caspian,” My best friend and Beta, Duke, drawled from where he lay on the couch in my office. I gave him an irritated look. “This is as calm as I can be, Duke. I'm f*****g tired of cleaning up her mess,” “Well, you are her mate…” “Exmate, fucker,” I cursed at him, angrily. I had broken off my mate bond with Finna four years ago. After I found out how wrong I was about Vivi, I hadn't been able to bear being close to Finna. The guilt had been killing me, so I had no option but to break off the mate bond. Our mateship hadn't even lasted two years. And I had been looking for Vivi ever since, so I could beg for forgiveness and atone for what I did. Even if she didn't want me anymore, I still wanted to see her and apologize, even if it was just once. My office door opened, and Finna cat walked in, dressed in a very tight-fitting white short gown that left nothing to the imagination. I could even see the outline of her n*****s, and I quickly averted my gaze. “Hi darling, I heard you wanted to see me,” Her sensual voice called, as she walked up to me, placing a kiss on both sides of my cheeks. Her mouth was already heading to my lips when I grabbed her arms and pushed her slightly backwards. Didn't she know how to give up? It's been four years already! “Don't call me darling, and what the f**k is the meaning of what you did on Moonlit Luxury flight 254? I've told you times without numbers not to treat my staff like s**t!” “Flight 254? I'm not sure what you're talking about, you know I've flown with our luxury planes numerous times these past few days. I only just came back from a shopping trip to Italy yesterday,” “Exactly that shopping trip! Look at this,” I pushed the video my assistant had sent to me, at her face. “Oh, this. Well, the stupid Omega didn't know her place, so I told her where it was,” “And where is that?” I asked sarcastically. “Beneath me of course,” She answered primly, then perched on a seat far from where Duke was lying down, still ignoring him. It was like he wasn't even in the room. She didn't like Duke and the feeling was mutual. Duke too pretended like she wasn't there, and kept his eyes closed, but I knew he wasn't sleeping. “I'm her Luna, but she didn't give me the respect I deserved, so I made sure to let her know,” She finished. “You are just holding that post officially, you are not my real Luna as we are no longer mated,” I stated in frustration. My wolf didn't like her calling herself our Luna. We only had one Luna, and that was Vivi, but there was nothing I could do. The pack members considered Finna their Luna, so I allowed her to still hold the post, even though we were no longer mated. Finna waved her hand delicately in the air as if waving away what I said. “You need to apologize to the Omega,” I stated bluntly. “You say what? Over my dead body!” She snapped, bolting up from her perch. “It might actually be over your dead body, Finna,” I growled, fed up with her. “I won't apologize. Why should I apologize to a nobody like her?” “Well, that nobody is a valued member of my pack and my company, and I won't hesitate to terminate your contract as the company's model if you don't do as you are told,” She opened her mouth to say something, but I cut her off sharply. “And don't give me that crap about your father having major shares in this company. I am the president of this company and his Alpha, your Alpha! So, you do as you are told!” I finished, an Alpha command in my tone. I rarely used the Alpha voice on my pack members, but I was so tired of her and her problems. Giving me a scathing look, she jumped off her seat, and marched out of my office, shutting the door with a hard bang behind her. “Okay… That was fun…” Duke murmured from the couch. “Just shut up!” I snapped, before picking up my office phone again. “Tell the PR manager to come to my office now. We need to kill this video before it causes more issues,” I ordered my assistant. **** “Maybe we need external help,” My assistant, Mabel, stated as I reviewed our sales for the month. What Finna did a few weeks back had negatively affected our sales. Even the president of the country, who flew with our most luxurious planes, refused to fly with us, as did many other influentials. “Who?” “Mystic Ads. It's a new firm that has helped a lot of major companies turn their sales around in days! They are the best marketing Agency in the field, but they have a month waitlist,” “I don't have a month to wait, look at how bad things are already. How can I get in now?” I asked tensely, massaging my temples. “I have a friend who works there. She told me last night that Bespoke, their president, will be in office today. If we can find a way to meet her physically, she won't have any option but to attend to us. Having us as a client will do a lot for her company too,” “That's smart. We are leaving now,” I stood up from my seat, only for my door to burst open. “I'm coming with you,” Finna stated. “I'm already angry and frustrated as it is Finna, don't annoy me further,” “But, I'm just trying to help, love. I caused this mess indirectly, of course, so maybe having a popular model in your arms will give you a better image, not this ugly-,” She didn't finish, but she gave my assistant a snide look instead. I wasn't in the mood to argue or reprimand anyone, and I didn't want to miss meeting with Bespoke just because of Finna’s nagging, so I told her to come with us. I forced my way into Mystic Ads company using my stance as a power figure and one of the richest Alphas in the country. I was successfully able to get to Bespoke’s office, only to be stopped by her assistant, who told me I couldn't see Bespoke as she wasn't accepting clients at the moment, but I refused to take no for an answer. I needed to meet with their president immediately, so I threatened to open the office door myself if the assistant wouldn't open it for me. Annoyance evident in her eyes, the assistant opened Bespoke’ s office door for me, and as I stepped in, my eyes met familiar blue ones, and joy filled my entire being. At last, I found her. I've found Vivi. The joy turned into shock when Vivi suddenly ran towards me, her arms raised. Was she glad to see me too?
