I made Grey take the girls out for ice-cream and bring some back for me and Kevin while we are waiting back at home for them to come. We all were in the park half an hour ago and now I got Kevin back home to talk to him alone.
"Hey, hon"
"Hey, daddy," He says opening his arms for me to pick him up from the car seat.
"Had a good morning? Let's get you all cleaned up now." I pick him up and take him inside.
He hides his face in my shoulders and I know he is scared and/or sad. As much as I don't want the littles running around and getting in trouble, I hate them being this quiet.
"Daddy loves you, Kevin."
I tell him and he looks up at me quizzically.
