Chapter 4

594 Words
Brad’s POV The sound of a million conversations awoke me from my slumber. Laying still I gently rubbed my temples with my sweaty fingertips. The pounding of a hangover came rushing in, making me slightly wince. A slight groan left my mouth when I heard Aaron shout “Have fun ladies.” through the wall, followed by the sound of the front door shutting. A slight frown wandered over my face, wondering who the plural ladies were.  After being in a fit of rage overhearing Liv’s conversation with the absolute waste of space she now called her ex last night, I slipped out of the suite and shot Aaron a text. “Gone to that party, don’t wait up.” adding the smirking emoji to add humour to my best mate’s conversation. I turned up at the party, people were pretty tipsy by the time i got there so it was only fair i played catch up. Downing what I could get my hands on immediately felt the effects. I was so f*****g angry that someone could hurt somone like Liv. She wasn’t innocent but she definitely wouldn’t have hurt someone on purpose, especially not in the way she is now hurting. I had to get out of that apartment before I smashed the place up. I did what I do best and avoided acting like a normal level headed person and went and got smashed.  The memories of last night came flooding back, dancing with randomers, drinking an awful lot and the best game of beer pong I’ve ever played. I had managed to get back to the suite around 4am, quietly popping my head in Liv’s room to make sure she wasn’t still up. I could tell from the slight shine on her face she had been crying again, if not all night. I wanted nothing more than to get in her bed with her and make sure she knew she was safe with me. Fortunately, the drunk me still had some sense and  I closed her door quietly before slumping it in my bedroom, passing out in seconds.  Sitting up on my elbows in bed, I grabbed my phone from the jeans on the floor. Giving my social media a bit of attention, I flicked through liking a few things here and there to make a fans dreams come true. Then up next, a picture appeared “@TheArrows4Eva234: Can’t believe I’ve just met Aaron’s mum and cousin!!!!!!” the caption read. I looked at the picture obviously seeing Debbie and Liv standing on either side of this girl. But Liv. Wow. Her black jeans hugged her tightly, showing the full beauty of her ass as she bent down to be the same height as the girl. Her top was slightly see through, letting me see a little bit of that black lace underneath. Her smile was obviously picture perfect but I could still see the broken heart behind those glossy turquoise eyes. That’s when I realised, Aaron's mum was here! I dragged myself out of the bed and called to Azza. “Hey do you know your mum is in London?” I asked, still half asleep as I sat on the breakfast bar with Aaron and the smell of burnt pancakes. Aaron gave me an eye roll and a laugh. “Obviously I know, Aunty Lil and Beth are in town too. Coming to Livvy’s rescue.” He smiled and nodded to the spare room. I looked back at the photo and gave it a quick like before going to get a nice cold shower, hoping to clear this hangover before the girls get back.
