Olivia’s POV
Thankfully the short ride to the club was filled with Liam and Beth dueting with the radio. I couldn't bring myself to look at Brad. What the hell was that back in my room? The only rational thing to do now was ignore that and ignore him. Brad was not the relationship type, and although I said I wanted some fun, well that just would open a whole new world of problems. Once we arrived, I quickly turned round to the boys and repeated the 3 finger plan. All boys nodded, one with gritted teeth and a clenched jaw.
“Right, I obviously need to play catch up so i’m going to the bar, beth lets go.” I said pointing to the bar before dragging her over. We stood getting served when she turned to me, “So Brad tried to kiss you?” She asked casually, making me almost choke on the shot the nice bartender had given me. “H-how did you know?” I asked, trying to regain composure. “You two had it written all over your faces plus Aaron can’t really keep his mouth shut.” She shrugged, downing her shot. I rolled my eyes, knowing for a fact Aaron couldn’t help a little gossip here and then. I collected my drink and walked back to the booth with Beth in tow. Let the night begin!
A couple of drinks and hell of a lot of shots in, I knew this was going to be a good night. The club played a lot of chart songs and some really good cheesy guilty pleasures. Little Mix came blaring on and by the look in Beth’s eyes she was responsible for it. Shout out to my ex. “How appropriate.” I scoffed in her direction, feeling her pull me to my feet and over to the dance floor. I could feel Brad’s eyes on me the whole time. Finally thinking f**k it, and letting my hair down I had a good dance with my best friend. Shouting and screaming the lyrics with lots of laughter, I was surprised when two lads came to join our dancers circle. I could see one very interested in Beth, no surprise there she was your blue eyed blondie. The song came to an end and I could see Beth getting closer to the unknown boy. Unsure how I felt about being left with his overly drunk pal, I tested out my 3 finger plan.
I slowly put my hand behind my back, knowing it was in full view of the boys, and held up 3 fingers. Within a flash, Brad and Aaron were by my side. Smirking to myself just how much that worked, I wrapped my hand around Aaron’s waist and gave him a little squeeze. “Drink liv?” Brad asked, his eyes twinkling at me but his jaw clenched when he turned back to the unwanted guest. Nodding, I followed them to the bar. “6 shots of tequila please and whatever these guys want.” Aaron ordered with a cheeky smile. The shots came and Aaron passed us 2 each. Now the thing about me and Aaron was tequila was our favourite, it’s a shame we can’t say the same for Brad who was left borking.
Brad’s POV
The night was in full swing, Beth had returned to the group and we were all having a genuinely good laugh. “I’m going to get a drink.” Olivia half slurred, as he stepped out of the booth. Her hips swaying side to side as she did, making my mouth turn upwards. “Like what you see, Mr famous?” Beth teased, nudging my arm. “Don’t you?” I questioned back, looking rather smug. No one could deny how amazing Liv looked, I mean that is why she had to use her 3 finger plan many times tonight.
Just at that, it looked like it was about to come into action again. I put my drink on the table, ready to go. Except the hand never moved. A frown quite clearly plastered on my face alerted Beth to what I was looking at. A boy with a red short back and sides but slight quiffed fringe was standing talking to Olivia. Not red as in ginger but not red as red red. I patiently waited for the signal. “I don’t think it’s coming.” Beth teased, knowing she was pressing my buttons. “He seems nice.” She added, pretty impressed with herself. I felt myself growl in annoyance and sitting back, defeated.
It felt like forever watching her talk, smile and laugh with redhead. I watched her motion to us and I tried to act casual, pretending I wasn't trying to look into their souls. I saw him gently shake his head but pass her his phone. She typed away and looked pretty happy. That b***h just got her number. She grabbed her drink and started heading back this way. My eyes were dark and my face was stern. “Why didn’t you signal?!” I almost snapped at her. A feeling in my stomach that was new to me swirled around. “Because I didn’t want to.” She bit back. Both of us having stare down. “Outside.” I said through gritted teeth. Surprisingly, she agreed and followed me to the smoking area.
