Chapter 13

560 Words
The adrenaline rush was still very much prominent and it felt f*****g amazing. Trying to desperately catch my breath, I held onto the wall behind me. “That was so f*****g good.” Mabel said with a huge grin and equally out of breath. I couldn’t believe that 8 hours ago I was just sitting in an empty arena minding my own business and now I was just coming off stage after performing with some of the best dancers in the industry. It was amazing and I could not wait to ring my mum and share the excitement.  With only a half hour interval before the boys were due on stage, I had a quick look for them. Finding them arsing around in their dressing room was not at all a surprise. “So how was it?” Aaron chimed with a proud look in his eyes. I didn’t even have time to reply before the stage manager was motioning them to follow him so instead I just settled with the biggest grin I could do. They filed out one by one, smiles beaming on each of them. “Smash it boys.” I smiled, now my turn to feel proud. I felt a large hand brush past my bare thigh, the fire that ignited on my skin told me exactly who it was. My eyes flicked up to his and before I knew it, I was pressed up against the wall with his face so close I smell his minty fresh breath and aftershave mixed into one. “You look hot as hell, Liv.” Brad more or less growled into my ear, whilst his hand resting dangerously high on my bare thigh. I had super short frayed denim shorts on so his hand was very close to where my uncontrollable mind was wishing it was. My eyes quickly scanned to make sure the other boys had left, before taking my bottom lip in between my teeth.  Brad made all my thoughts and sadness about Lewis seem like a distant memory and I wasn’t sure how exactly I felt about that. It was just an attraction right? I was obviously feeling lonely and missing a male’s touch so this is what this was, right? I felt his dominating lips on mine, pressing hard. I knew the stage manager would be back any minute and judging my the roughness and desperation in the kiss, Brad knew that too. Just as my leg involuntary wrapped around him, pulling him closer, I heard quick footsteps on the hard floor. “Brad, let’s go.” The stage manager, Tony, shouted down the hallways. And as quickly as it started, our little moment was over. “I need a cold shower.” I groaned out in frustration. Judging by the dark laugh, which I kne was accompanied by a smirk, Brad had heard me as he jogged down the hallway towards the stage.  After calming myself and my body down in the coldest shower possible and giving my mum and Beth a FaceTime to fill them on what just happened, I hung out backstage and managed to get a glimpse of the boys performances. Still on cloud nine, I had totally forgotten about the night out until Leona, one of Mabel’s dancers, reminded me that we needed to get ready. We rushed off to the dressing rooms to get ready, whilst I heard the boys announcing their last song.
