“Thank f**k for that.” I sighed, getting off the bus and letting the fresh air hit my face. That was a close call. I immediately felt my face redden and my hand quickly covered my mouth. “Oops, I’m so sorry, I didn’t know you were here.” I awkwardly apologized for swearing in front of Brad’s mum, who was stood, waiting excitedly for her son to get off the bus. “Don’t worry about it, Love. I’m not sure I could handle being on a bus for that long with those 4 either.” Laura laughed, gently rubbing my arm for reassurance that she wasn’t offended by my foul language. I smiled in return and moved away from the bus doorway. “Hey, what is that supposed to mean?” I hear Brad shout from behind me. I spun round to see him stood, pretending to be offended by his Mum’s comment. “Brad, look at you.”
