I ended up going to sleep on the bus last night, wanting to distance myself from Brad and not risk the wrath of Aaron. I groaned as I rolled over in the tiny bunk bed, head pounding. Checking my phone, I had a text from Mabel, “We’re heading out for lunch at 12, if you wanna come xx” Lunch sounded amazing right now, I looked at the time and saw I had just over an hour to get ready. I grabbed some clothes for today and headed back into the hotel.
I walked down the hallway of the hotel and let the memories of last night replay. It wasn’t that I regretted what happened, but I definitely felt awkward today. I looked up to see Aaron stood at his room door, with a questioning look on his face. “What?” I played dumb. I knew he wanted to know where I stayed last night. “Where have you been? I know you weren’t with Ollie or Liam.” He said folding his arms, fully expecting me to admit I was with Brad. “The bus, I slept on the bus.” I replied innocently. “Can I use your shower?” I quickly asked, quickly changing the subject. I was a bad liar so I needed to quit the conversation before any more questions were asked. “Just because you slept on the bus, doesn’t mean you did sleep with him.” Aaron bit back. My jaw dropped at his accusation, I mean I probably would have if he never practically punched the door in, but still it kinda hurt he’d suggest that. Quickly turning back to face him with the straightest face I could muster up. “I did not sleep with him.” I spat, crossing my arms. “If you say so.” Aaron shrugged before letting me into his room for the shower.
I had a feeling that he didn’t believe me but I was telling the truth. I did sleep on the bus and I didn’t sleep with him. If he had asked if I let his fingers f**k me then I wouldn’t have been able to lie and say no, but he never so all good in the hood, right?
When I came out the bathroom, Aaron was still laying on his bed on the phone to what sounded like Aunty Debbie. He was always a mummy’s boy bless him. He noticed me and said his goodbyes. “So we’re travelling to Birmingham after the show tonight, why don’t you ask the redhead to meet up tomorrow when we get there?” He suggested, referring to Archie from the club the other week. I had been speaking to him alot since he texted me first the other night and obviously told Aaron everything. Archie had only been in London that night to visit his friend who lives there and was actually from Birmingham. I pondered over the idea, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt seeing him again. “What are we supposed to do though? I have rehearsals during the day and then your concert doesn’t normally finish until past 10pm?” I asked. “See if he wants to come to the concert, no doubt we’ll be going out after.” Aaron shrugged.
I scoffed at his ridiculous idea of a grown man wanting to go to a boy band concert. “You never know Liv, he might just be a secret fan.” Aaron joked. I was actually warming round to the idea and decided to quickly give him a text. ‘Hey Arch, just out of curiosity, how do you feel about meeting up at my cousin’s concert tomorrow night?x’ I pressed send whilst biting my bottom lip. Did I really just invite him to a concert where we would be standing watching a band which consisted of my cousin and a boy who had his fingers literally inside of me the night before? I had to shake out the thoughts of Brad out of my head and focus on something else.
Almost instantly, Archie texted back. “What? In Birmingham? Sure why not haha. Xxx’
Nice. I gave him a quick ring and let him know that I would meet him just before the concert and we would hang backstage whilst I performed with Mabel and then go into the audience when the boys were on with the possibility to go out afterwards. He agreed and sounded like he was looking forward to the night. “Good.” I smiled into the phone, “I’ll text you when we get there, see you tomorrow.” I sang into the phone before putting it down.
I had gone straight back to the bus after finishing on stage. I was only in one song of Mabel’s so as soon as that was over I was out of there. I had wanted to keep distance between me and Brad all day, it was easier this way. I sat on my bunk, texting away to Archie when the crowd of girls that had surrounded the bus started screaming. This signalled that the boys were on the way onto the bus so give me a chance to get ready to face Brad.
It was a little after 10:30pm, Bernie the bus driver had asked if we were all ready to go and started the bus up. The darkness of the night started to set in as we roared down the motorway, heading towards Birmingham. We were all in our bunks, knowing we had to at least try and sleep as we wouldn’t be reaching the hotel for about 3 hours at least. “Can anyone else not sleep?” I heard Brad’s voice shout from his bunk opposite mine. “Yep.” I replied with a blunt tone, this being the first interaction I had with him since last night. I looked over to Brad’s bunk. I saw him laid there, shirtless. He propped himself up on his side so he was facing me, looking incredibly smug. I let out a small laugh at his arrogance. He went to say something but was interrupted. “I’m awake so don’t you two be getting any ideas.” I heard Aaron warn. I looked back at Brad and had to hold my hand over my mouth to stop a laugh coming out. “Night Azz.” I shouted to him, smiling. I turned over to try and drift off.
