Chapter 11

1046 Words
The boys were barley around for the next week or so because their mini UK tour was about to kick off the day after tomorrow. I was beyond excited for them but after having spent most of this time on my own already, I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the next 3 weeks on my own. I was knocked out of my own thoughts by the sound of them bounding in the suite. “What’s up Liv?” Aaron asked, looking concerned. “You better not have been thinking about that dickhead again!” Brad said with a stern tone, making sure I was looking at him. His eyes were tense. I know he had my best interests at heart but after the past week of stealing secret kisses and a few cheeky feels, I couldn’t help but think he had a hidden agenda. I gently shook my head, shooting Aaron a look that told him I’d speak to him later.  I left the kitchen and went to the cinema room to have a cheesy chick flick marathon. I needed to sort my head out regarding the situation with Brad and what better than highly unlikely romance film. The thing was, Brad and I had made it very clear that I was taking things slow with everyone. Meaning, I wasn’t just giving myself to him. Then, like a sign from the love gods above, my phone went off. I took it out my pocket to see a text from an unknown number. “Hey, it’s Archie from the club. How are you? X” I felt a smirk on my lips as I held the phone close to my chest and looked up whispering a quick thank you to those love gods.  Before I knew it the conversation was flowing. Turns out he isn’t the brightest of sparks and admitted he was waiting for me to text him first to make sure I was interested, obviously forgetting I didn't actually get his number back. He seemed sweet and he made me laugh, over text too! Turns out I must have been laughing out loud because I had an audience at the doorway, all 4 boys. “We came to see what movie was so funny but it’s still the welcome screen.” Liam said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. My head snapped round to the screen, noticing I had actually forgotten to put a movie on because I had gotten too wrapped up in my messages. “Oh.” I said forming a perfect O with my mouth. With that, my phone pinged again. Not being able to hide the grin on my face, Aaron came running over like an excited kid at christmas. “Who’s got you smiling like this?” He teased before yanking my phone out of my hand. “Ooooh, Archie. Nice name and who is that?” He pressed with a small smirk. “The guy from the club the other week.” I mumbled, knowing for a fact I had a death glare burning into my skull off a certain someone. “Nice.” Aaron laughed before tossing my phone back to me.  When I looked back at the doorway, I had noticed someone missing. Is he really going off in a huff because I’m texting some guy? Kind of hypocritical considering I’ve heard him sneak out at least 3 times this week to god knows where, I thought to myself letting a frown appear on my face. “Hey, you okay?” Aaron asked, now sitting down next to me. “Yeah, just fine.” I said still with the frown on my face. “Are you sure because this is twice your face has told me different?” He looked at me with his eyebrows raised. I sighed, thinking about my earlier thoughts of being on my own in this big suite for the next 3 weeks. “I don’t want to be on my own, Azz.” I breathed out, sounding awfully weak. “You’re not on your own silly. You’ve got us lot.” He replied, pulling me in for a hug before gesturing to the now empty door frame. “I won’t soon, for 3 week.” I mumbled, realising I was sounding a lot like a child. “Come with us then. You’ve always wanted to know what happens on tour.” He said, shrugging it off like it was an easy decision.  His words swirled around my brain. Maybe that wasn’t such a bad idea. I got to go and explore a load of different cities,  a free The Arrows concert every night, and even a free ride home when they stopped in Newcastle! “Okay.” I said nodding, biting my bottom lip slightly. I jumped out of my skin as Aaron shot up and cheered as if his favourite football team had just scored. This made the boys reappear, all 4 this time, giving us questioning looks. I just laughed and shook my head as Aaron delivered the news to the boys. “I’ll ring Peter to let him know and sort out extra hotel rooms and stuff.” The ever so sensible Liam said after giving me a big grin. Ollie and Aaron fist bumped before hugging me to let me know he was happy that I was coming along. That only left me to see what Brad’s reaction was. A smirk. A goddamn smirk. I knew what he was thinking but there was no way I was doing this solely for him.  Whatever was going between me and Brad, it was not something to put a label on. He was going out meeting god knows who and god knows where. I was keeping my options open. Plus, I know for a fact a tour was the perfect opportunity for Brad to ‘have his way’ with other people. “So what film are we watching Liv?” His voice knocked me out of my thoughts. This was the good thing about Brad and I, despite us having a few steamy kisses here and there, during the day in front of others we could go back to being exactly what we were before, best friends. I adjusted myself so my back was now leaning on him and my legs over Aaron. “The new Harley Quinn film, Pleeeeeease” I pleaded with both boys. “Fine.” Aaron easily admitted defeat, holding his hand up. The film started and I got comfy on both boys.
