The Little pup In The Woods

Kian's Pov-   

     As I'm having breakfast the air shift and I instantly mind link Jake my beta, since he had patrol today. He links back and say, "It's all under control me and a few warriors are heading there now." I say okay and go back to having my breakfast and not even 10 minutes later one of the warriors links me saying,

 " Alpha we have a situation..."

     I instantly say i'm on my way, and drop everything and run outside and shift right away tearing the clothes I just put on. It takes me around 5 minutes to show up at the clearing. I go behind one of the trees that held the emergency basketball shorts.

    I walk back out to the clearing and start to walk towards them and hear my beta yelling at the rogue. As i'm getting closer I see a red pup with splashes of white. It starts to shrink back when I walked up to it but never losing the defiance in it's eyes. Then my beta once again yells, 

"SHIFT DAMMIT!" 

    It turns it's attention back to him and starts growling. Jake turns to me in disbelief and says, 

"Kian can believe this mutt!" 

I turn back to the rogue and notices it's only a kid and a little girl at that. I turn to Jake and say, 

"Shush Jake it's only a kid."

I don't think she liked getting called a kid because she started growling at me, I turned to her and said,

"I need you to shift...okay"

She growled and barked at me in which probably meant a no.

"Okay we can do this the easy way or the hard way"

    She growled and barked at me which was to challenge me, but it sounded a little different from the other ones. Her eyes starts to lose focus and she starts to stagger. That's when I noticed three big claw marks down her side still bleeding. 

"Dammit Jake she's injured! Mind link the pack doctor to head to my room!"

"Okay!"

"Okay look i'm gonna take you to get your wounds looked at...alright?"

    She tried to muster up the biggest growl she had to intimidate me. I start to pick her up gently and she snaps her head towards me and let out a strangled cry. She starts to growl and barks hysterically, while also wiggling around. All that moving made her wound bleed ever more,

" Stop moving dammit your making your wound worse!"

The little rat bit me, yea I was done being nice. A growl slipped out my mouth, 

"Okay look this will would go easier if you wasn't so snappy so...goodnight."

    She tried to bite my hand again but it was too late and I touched the pressure point on the back of her neck to make sure she would out cold. Me and everyone else was running towards the pack to make sure nothing happened to the pup. As soon as we was within a yard of the house someone opened the door for us and I ran straight upstairs to my room. Melissa was already waiting outside my room with all the tools she needed. I opened the door and sat the pup on a towel on the table. Melissa had started to examine her wound,

" She has three claw marks down her side, with twigs,leaves and etc. All I have to clean the wound and it should heal within the next couple of hours."

"Okay that's all for today, thanks Melissa"

    She bowed and left the room, I picked the little pup up and put her in the center of the bed in the other room. I made sure to close the door behind me and locked the door leading out to the hallway so she couldn't escape. I went downstairs to one of the living room where everyone was. Everyone got up and greeted me and we had a meeting of what to do with the pup. Some of us agreed to let her stay, and the other agreed to just leave her be because she could be a spy from another pack.

"There's no way she's a spy and I stand on that."

"Well how can you be so su-"

Before one of the pack members could finish we heard a slight thud from upstairs.

"Did y'all hear that?"

    We all agreed and we started to head up the stairs. As we go upstairs, we all hear a slight creak coming from my room. We start walking towards my room and i'm the first to enter the room just in case. Everyone is either mumbling or trying to whisper. As soon as I enter the room I stop because that door where she suppose to be sleeping is open. I push it all the way open and stop and yell,

"WHERE IS SHE?! Jake mind link everyone to look out for a red wolf with white spots, she has to be here somewhere, you guys go out there and look and I'll double check in here!"

Everyone leaves the room in a hurry, I start to look around the room where she was sleeping in, as I go to look under the bed I see a slightly discolored part in the back, and that's when I realized that's her. 

"Come here your're safe, I promise I won't hurt you..."

    She slowly starts to walk towards me and i'm relieved because it seems she finally let her guard down, and that's when it hit me that I done let my guard down instead because the next thing I know is that i'm lying on the ground in shock. As I look up I see her making a dash for the door which leads to the hallway.

'Those f*****g idiots!'

"f**k! WAIT!!"

I started to mind link everyone,

'I found her under the bed but she took a chance to run out the door Y'ALL left open. She still doesn't know the way out of here so someone open the front door and everyone gather around that door and hide. When y'all see her capture her but don't hurt her'

I hear paws run past the room again and thought,

'She feel for it'

    I'm at the top of the stairs I see Jake sitting on a milk crate in front of a open door with a red ball inside. Everyone is at a far enough distance away to look at her and not to scare her. She's barking and growling like crazy. She starts to bite and scratch at it but to no avail. She starts barking again, and not even 5 seconds a some white thing comes rushing through the door and jumps on Jake's face. Jake doubles over trying to get whatever it is off of him. She took that chance to push the crate off of her and ran out the door, and as soon as she set foot out the door the white streak jumped on her back. 

    Everyone just stood there shell shocked at what just happened till it clicked she just got away. I instantly ran out side the house and howled. She just reached the tree line when I exited the house and thought,

'Why the hell is she so fast!'

    I shifted and caught up to her not even a minute later, she notices i'm right behind her while I tried to nudge her off her feet and she does a right turn away from me. I stumble a bit but catch my footing once again, this pup wanted to play tag, so let's play. I jog behind her until I has a couple of feet away from her so she wouldn't notice I wasn't behind her. I took a short cut so I could catch her off guard and try to knock her off her feet again. 

    I thought that would work but I guess she seen me and swiftly turned around. I ran straight into a tree, at this point i'm done playing. I growled to indicate to her that I was fed up, a couple seconds later I pounce on her, and I tower over her little frame and catch her neck in my mouth. She flinches away but I don't care and start to pick her up by her neck and carry her back towards the pack house. She wriggles around but I tighten my jaw enough so she wouldn't move. She tried to do anything she could but I growled which came out gargled but she got the message.

    She whimpers here and there but we finally reach the pack house and I don't even set her down yet I waited until I took her all the way to my room and closed the door in case she tried to run again. She grunted when we entered the pack house but I just laughed it off. This time I had people guard the door Just in case.

    I sat her down in the middle of the rug on the floor while I went to the bathroom to shift and put on new clothes. As I came out of the bathroom there she was in a defensive position in the middle of the floor watching my every move. But I just smirked and started to walk closer to her and she started growling and barking again but I didn't care and stopped around 3 feet away from her.
