" Okay Look back to our conversation in the woods, we either do this the easy way or the hard way, the hard way is I use this syringe to force you to shift while losing your wolf for about a month, or... shift by yourself and keep your wolf"
Of course I wasn't really gonna use it one her because she just a kid, but if she is as smart as I think she is she'll know to shift herself. She starts to back away but I quickly pick her up by the back of her neck and hold the syringe close to her neck. Before it got any closer to her she starts to shift, I set her back down and she stands in front of me with the meanest scowl across he face, it was actually funny but I didn't let it show, less reason for her to dislike me. I turn around and pick up some clothes one of the pack members left for her. I feel her tense and back up, and as always got to growling .
"Calm down i'm just getting you some clothes."
I turn back around with some sweats, a shirt, a jacket and some shoes. She puts everything on but the the shoes but it didn't really matter either way so I let it go.
"So no shoes, well okay then, but to start the questioning what's your name?"
She looks away from me and scoff at me, that right there just told me she communicate with others.
"Okay then just knock or something if you ready to talk."
I get up from where I took a seat and headed to the door. She tried to run out the door but I closed it right before she could leave out of it. I made sure it was locked from the outside so she wouldn't escape, when I started to walk away I heard banging and growling from the other side of the door and that's when I heard her say,
"LET ME GO!! YOU PIECES OF s**t!!"
I stood there by the stairs looking at the guard shocked, and his face basically mirrored mine. I turn back around and head down the stairs to the kitchen where everyone was. As soon as I enter the room everyone fell silent,
"What's going on?"
"Talking about what to do with the kid"
"What do you mean?"
"As in to let her stay or put her back where we found her."
"If everyone have forgotten I'M the alpha and my decision is that she is staying, I am not putting no kid back into the forest with dangerous rouges and hunters!"
" But Alpha we don't know where she came from!"
"I know the concerns of some of you, but i'm still against it she's only a kid"
"But alpha It looks like she knows her way around out there, so in no way is she not dangerous"
"So your telling me just because she knew how to survive that's she's dangerous, that's also telling me that MY pack the strongest of all of North America is weak, If she really as dangerous as you say she is all I have to do is look after her, so in conclusion she's staying and that's my FINAL decision."
I could feel some people where discontent with the outcome but mostly everyone else agreed with my decision. I couldn't care less who disagreed though, I was alpha and if they wanted the spot they could by all means challenge me for it. If I don't show compassion to where it's needed then who will, we would be like any other rouge pack out there if I let this little girl go.
I head towards to make me some food, that's when it hit me and I start to make the pup some food too. I make steak, macaroni and cheese. You could never go wrong with that. After I get done cooking I head back towards my room. As i'm approaching i'm met with peace and quiet...weird. As i'm entering the room, the room is a complete mess. Scratched walls and floors, broken mirrors, shredded bed and couches, not even one thing was left untouched. As I walked further into the room I felt a presence to my right behind the door.
She tried to dash by me but I easily caught her by the hood of her hoodie. She ends up falling back and I turn around to close and lock the door. I kicked the stuff on the floor out of the way so I could make a spot for me and her to eat on the floor. As I sat down she look at me suspiciously, I gesture my head for her to sit down. She sat down slowly and I put the plate of food in front of her.
She went and sniffed the food to check for anything I might've put in the food. As she went to bite it I could see a little sparkle in her eye indicating she liked it. After she noticed I was looking at her she said,
"Boo"
"Is it good?"
"No it's total ass"
"That's not what your face says"
"Shut up old man!"
"Excuse me but i'm anything but old"
She just scoffed at me and continued to eat. But surprisingly she had okay table manners and knew how to use a fork and spoon. As I was looking at her she must've felt what I was thinking,
"Not all rouges are well rouges"
"I see, so who taught you"
"One of the rouges a couple of states away in a small cottage house in the woods, beautiful family I tell ya."
"Really?"
"Yes, not all rouges are bad."
"Can you tell who are bad and good?"
"Sometimes, the real crazy ones you can tell by they're eyes but some sane ones are decent, the most dangerous are the sane ones who still does crazy shit."
"So kid what's your name?"
She looked at me skeptically and chose to not say anything. After a few minutes of silence she told me,
"Just call me Rae.."
"Alright call me Kian."
She nodded her head and started to asked me a question,
"Sooo when can I get let out of this room?
"When you learn to behave"
"Not going to happen"
"Then you stay in the rooms"
"Then y'all are just going to keep having to clean rooms."
"Okay how about the only times your allowed out is if your with me, or my beta and gamma, until you prove you can stay here and not run."
"It's not like I would get very far anyways stupid."
After that sentence we just sat and ate in some what peace. After she got done eating she waited by the door,
"what do you think you doing?"
"Waiting for you obviously"
"Oh yea"
I chuckled a little after forgetting that fast, I pick the boxes up and headed to the door. I unlocked it and made sure she stayed beside me the entire time so she wouldn't run. I think she caught the gist that she couldn't with me right beside her because she didn't even attempt to run. The first stop was to throw our boxes away, we ran into a few people on the way to the trash but they consciously made room for us because even though they agreed to let her stay here still does not mean that they still aren't wary of her..and that she wasn't wary of them.
We was now going to the front living room to introduce her to everybody. While we were going down the corridor I mind linked everyone I worked closely with to go there and everyone to stay away for awhile because I didn't know how she would react to them let alone the whole pack. As soon we walked into the living room she was instinctively on guard, everyone felt the atmosphere change around them and made them go in defensive positions which caused her to start growling in a crouched defensive position..
'sigh'
"here we go"
