I stormed through the forest, anger thrumming in my veins like a pulse. The trees loomed over me, their shadows stretching across the ground, but I barely noticed.
For weeks, I’d been searching, trying to find any trace of her. I’d combed through every inch of the forest, questioned every wolf I could find, and even confronted Damien, demanding answers about Aiden. He’d been uncharacteristically tight-lipped, which only fueled my suspicions. I’d been convinced that she was in danger, that Aiden had abducted her, and that Damien was covering for his twisted brother.
