Hazel’s POV
I had woken up five minutes ago and was wondering why my alarm was not going off. The curtains were thick so I could not see the exact position of the sun. I pulled my phone from the bedside table to check the time. My eyes widened when I saw the time. I was late for work. It was ten minutes to my clocking time and I had not even taken a shower. This was a new job and I could not afford to get fired. There were no jobs that were readily available for me so I had to get ready faster.
I went into the bathroom and hurriedly took a shower. I picked the nearest dress and put it on. I was going to skip breakfast because I had no time to make something. I opened the door and almost collided with Lucas.
“I am so sorry. I was in a hurry. I did not see you there.” I apolog
