“Hey man, how is this? Much better than the last one, don't you think?” I asked my Beta who stood behind me, watching him try on different clothes. Liam, who already seemed rather tired of watching the entire fashion runway session, answered almost nonchalantly - well that was his usual way of responding.
“It looks great sir. I think you should wear this one. It really….uhhm.. it really brings out your eyes?????...” He squinted one eye while tilting his head with his fingers crossed as he tried to assess whether his response sounded convincing enough. Well it didn't - I still didn't feel right yet. I wanted tonight to be special. Afterall, I was finally going to propose to Hazel!
“Hmmm, my eyes right? I gotta change it then” I said as I began to take off my clothes
