“Well,” the Empress coughed weakly as James hovered over her worriedly. It was December and the dungeons were freezing. The Empress was bound to become sick down here. “Seems like she took their offer and is free. Hopefully, she will make it out of this country safely.”
James shook his head sadly. He knew Lily. He only hoped she hadn’t done something to anger Vesky enough to harm her.
“I doubt it mother,” James replied sadly. "Lily is loyal to a fault."
The Empress coughed again and James became even more worried. She was not in the best of health right now.
