Fully knowing the risks, she’d chosen to go down one path – one promising much faster development, though with more risk than she knew she should have accepted -- rather than the other much safer one. It would take years of testing and experimentation, all done ethically, to travel that path while the riskier way promised a few weeks at most to obtain the glittering prize.
