I was startled when Serenity tapped my arm. She glanced at my phone and sat beside me. I was chatting with Nick, and he was saying all sorts of things even though he was currently in a meeting.
"It's nothing, Nick is just being silly," I said, unable to hide my smile. But I saw Serenity shake her head and click her tongue.
"Wow girl, you're really something when you're in love. But are you sure that's actually love? Maybe it’s just infatuation. It looks like you're giving your all to your boyfriend," she remarked, which made my smile fade. I thought about it for a moment.
