“Thought you could escape me, did you?” Alpha Evergreen sneered, his voice dripping with venom. "You are coming back with me, whether you want to or not." His eyes glowed with a dangerous glint. I could feel his menacing aura radiate off of him.
I took a few steps back as his werewolves began encircling me. Alpha Evergreen's words left a bitter taste in my mouth, reminding me of the nineteen years I’d spent as a prisoner in his mansion. "I’m not your property, Alpha Evergreen. I was never yours to command."
