I gasped, lips quivering, “Lynn…”
He shook his head at me before rushing down the hallway, and I immediately wanted to go after him but then, Ron pulled me back.
“Why do you want to go after him?” He asked, his gaze locking me down. “Are you at fault?”
“No…” I whispered, as my eyes stung with tears.
“Then you shouldn't.” Ron directly shut the door, and it shook in its hinges. “You don’t have to apologize because you were seen with someone he doesn't approve of.”
“But…”
Another look from Ron shut me up.
I was indeed tired of running after Lynn, playing his stupid games and Ron, the devil he condemned was the one here, serving me hot chocolate.
