Chapter 7 - Hanging Out

After a hectic week at school, it's finally Saturday and Renah is thinking about what to do today.
She then chats Josh if he wants to go out with her.
"Umm, good morning, wanna hang out today?" she asks.
"Don't we have classes today?" Josh replied.
"It's Saturday today, dummy, hahaha," Renah responded.
"Oh, my bad, totally forgot it hahaha," Josh said.
"Yeah yeah I'm down" he added.
"Yey gotta go dress up then" Renah replied. "Let's meet at the street food shop in front of our school."
"Ok," Josh responded.
Both are prepared and are on the way to their meeting place.
Renah arrived first and bought some food as she waited.
Josh, on the other hand, sees a dog on his way and becomes terrified and tries to avoid it, but the dog chases him.
He quickly runs as fast as he can until he passes Renah who is finishing her food.
"HEY! JOSH!" Renah screamed.
"Who is that? Did the dog go?" he said.
"HEY! Why are you running?!" Renah loudly said.
Josh slowly slows down and realizes that he managed to lose the dog midway.
"Oh, I tho-thought the dog was sti-still chasing me," he said as he wiped his sweat off.
"You're afraid of dogs?" Renah asked.
"Hell yeah, a dog bit me when I was still little and since then, I have had a phobia of dogs," Josh replied.
"Ohh, it was funny seeing you run away from nothing hahaha," Renah responded.
"Yeah, so funny." Josh sarcastically said.
They then both went to town to figure out what to do.
They then went to an amusement park to try out some rides.
"It's been a long time since I came here. I still remember riding one of those hahaha." Josh said.
"Ahh, yeah, me too," Renah replied. "Let's ride some and have fun!"
They first went to the Viking, which is a large boat that swings high in the air.
"AHHHHHH!!!" Josh screamed as the Viking started to ascend.
"Hey, we're not even that high, and yet you're screaming? hahaha." Renah said.
"Oh, sorry, I'm just a little nervous AHHHHH!" Josh screamed once more.
The Viking reached its apex and it was swinging aggressively from right to left, which left Josh screaming in fear and uneasiness.
It then starts to slow down and Josh also calms slowly.
"That was scary," Josh said.
"What? I had lots of fun hahaha." Renah replied.
They then went to the drop tower, which is a ride that goes up slowly and then suddenly drops.
"You good?" Renah asked Josh.
"Yeah, I'm good," Josh replied.
They then both fasten their seat belts and Josh starts to get agitated once more.
The drop tower then slowly goes up and suddenly drops midway, which leaves Josh shocked.
"What the heck was that? I ain't yet ready." Josh said.
"That's the purpose of the tower, to shock you when it drops," Renah replied.
"Ohhh, AHHHH!" Josh responded as the tower dropped again.
The tower just continued to fall and Josh couldn't wait to leave his seat.
Renah, on the other hand, enjoys the ride and has some fun.
"Man, that was cool! hahaha." Renah said.
"Seriously?" Josh asked.
"Yeah, hahaha" Renah replied.
"It feels like my soul is leaving my body when it drops," Josh said.
"Hahahaha, that's a common feeling. Don't worry." Renah responded. "Let's go to Octopus next."
They then both went to Octopus, which is a ride that moves up and down in a wavelike motion.
The machine starts to move and Josh isn't feeling well.
"Ahhhh, my head, my stomach, it's all spinning," Josh said.
"That's the octopus for you," Renah replied as she had fun.
After the Octopus stops moving, they buy some snacks.
They then went to the Ferris Wheel as they ate their food.
"Yumm, this food is delicious," Josh said.
"Yeah, just perfect after an exhausting ride," Renah replied.
The Ferris Wheel slowly moved and they both chitchat for a while.
Josh then stares at Renah and sees dirt on her cheeks.
"Hey, Renah, you have dirt here," he said.
"Where? Here?" Renah replied as she tried to wipe the dirt off.
"Wait, let me help you," Josh responded as he took his handkerchief out and wiped the dirt on her cheeks.
"Oh, thanks," Renah replied as she blushed a little.
Josh noticed it but didn't say a word and continued to eat his food.
They both went off the Ferris Wheel.
"Wow, that's a lot of fun," Renah said.
"Yeah, it is," Josh replied.
"Let's do it again next time," Renah responded.
"Yeah just chat, me," Josh said.
They both then said goodbye to each other and went home.
Renah shared the things that happened a while ago with her family during dinner.
She then goes to sleep and can't stop thinking about what happened on the Ferris Wheel a while ago.
