Chapter 13: SerenityWe’ve been in the bunker under our apartment building for two weeks. Everyone in our building survived the attack, including the dog. Down here, there’s electricity, food, water, showers, sleeping quarters, and even an exercise room. They really made plans for long-term conditions. The only problem is the wireless signal for our tablets is non-existant, and the two regular computers are only supposed to be for official use. So Dawn and I, and most of the others down here with us, haven’t been able to get word out to see who else is alive on our island, or to see how things are going at Fort Cotton.
